Krugh Wins Small Three-Way Pot

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Sydney Krugh raised to 2,000 from under the gun and received two callers. She then bet the {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Spades} flop for 3,000 to receive one caller and check-called the {7-Spades} turn for 3,000. Both checked the {3-Diamonds} on the river and the {a-Hearts}{6-Spades} of Krugh were good enough to win the pot.

Small Pot for Diebold

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ben Diebold limped in from the small blind and then called a raise to 4,000 by Eric Smidinger. Both checked the {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop and the {8-Hearts} turn. Diebold then overbet the {j-Spades} river for 12,000, which represented half of his stack. That was good enough to win the pot uncontested as Smidinger sent the cards into the muck.

McKeehen Gets Set-Over-Set

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Joe McKeehen
Joe McKeehen

Joe McKeehen opened to 2,300 in the cutoff and John Jensen flat-called in the small blind, while the big blind also came along.

The action checked to McKeehen on the flop of {2-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and he bet 2,000. Only Jensen called. Jensen checked again on the {7-Spades} turn and McKeehen sized up to 7,000. Jensen check-jammed a stack of 19,000 and McKeehen snap-called.

John Jensen: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Joe McKeehen: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

It was a brutal cooler for the 2015 Main Event champ as his set of sevens was far behind Jensen's set of aces. The {2-Hearts} river improved both players to full houses and Jensen secured the double-up.

"You see this shit, Phil?" McKeehen moaned to table mate Phil Hui.

Coleman Starts Building a Stack

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

After defending his big blind, Maxx Coleman check-raised a flop of {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and looked up the shove of a shorter stack to table the {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for the top two pair. He was up against {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for the top pair and top kicker, which found no help on the {k-Clubs} turn and {2-Spades} river.

More for Zack Without Showdown

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

James Traber had raised from under the gun and the action was picked up on the {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop on which Dan Zack in the small blind checked, Traber checked back. Zack bet the {5-Clubs} turn for 3,000 and Traber snap-called, which led them to the {q-Spades} river.

Zack now followed that up with a bet worth 12,000 and Traber sent his cards into the muck and Zack chipped up further without the need to show his cards.

Hui Triples With a Set

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Phil Hui was seen tripling up his short stack of around 10,000 on a board of {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}.

Hui held {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} for a set to beat out the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} and {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts} of his opponents.

Christopher Chips Up Without Showdown

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Steven Christopher was the first player to call a raise to 3,000 and another two players behind came along. The {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop was checked to Christopher and he bet 4,500, which only Matthew Sundberg called. The {5-Diamonds} turn was checked to Christopher and he now bet 10,000 to win the pot.

"Would have anyone called all-in preflop?" Christopher then inquired and admitted in table chat he had ace-king albeit without showing them before collecting the pot.
