Rosa Scores a Double Through Blazevich

Nível 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

The action commenced with a raise to 250,000 by Cameron Blazevich and he then faced a three-bet to 750,000 by Jonathan Rosa. What followed was the four-bet shove by Blazevich and Rosa called instantly, triggering some cheers from his nearby rail.

Jonathan Rosa: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Cameron Blazevich: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The rail of Blazevich was now chanting for a queen but switched to clubs on the {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop and {3-Clubs} turn. Another black card followed on the river but it was the {4-Spades} for Rosa to double. He was at risk for 3,420,000 and pulled ahead of Blazevich on the leaderboard.

Krentzman Pips Levine for a Double Up

Nível 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Michael Duek opened to 240,000 in the cutoff and Evan Krentzman jammed all in for 2,380,000 on the button. David Levine gave it some thought from the small blind and eventually pushed out a call. Duek quickly folded and the two hands were tabled.

Evan Krentzman: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
David Levine: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

"F***!" Levine shouted as he ran to his rail to give them the bad news. The board ran out {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{7-Spades} and Krentzman had just enough to get the double up.

Trevino Snaps With Kings

Nível 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Cedrric Trevino raised to 265,000 from under the gun and received calls by Michael Duek, Evan Krentzman, and David Levine on the button.

"Shaping up," tablemate Jon Gisler said as they went four-handed to the {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop. Trevino checked to Duek who bet 450,000. Krentzman and Levine got out of the way, but Trevino called.

Both players checked the {10-Clubs} on the turn and Trevino checked once more on the {7-Hearts} river. Duek bet around 800,000 and Trevino instantly threw in a chip signifying a call.

"Come on," a frustrated Duek said as he showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for just king-high. Trevino turned over {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for a pair of kings to take down the pot.

Kunze Makes Incredible Call

Nível 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Tom Kunze
Tom Kunze

Tom Kunze opened to 240,000 from under the gun and faced a three-bet to 720,000 by Victor Li in late position. Action folded back around to Kunze who made the call to send the two players heads-up to the flop.

Both players checked through the {2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop to see the {5-Clubs} turn where Kunze led out for 625,000. Li responded by raising to 1,400,000 but Kunze, unconvinced, called.

Kunze checked on the {9-Clubs} river and Li fired off 2,550,000, enough to force Kunze all in. The German went deep into the tank but eventually tossed in calling chips and turned over {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}. His read had been spot on as the small pair was enough to score the full double.

Demersseman Turns the Tides against Lavenburg

Nível 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Adam Demersseman open-shoved for the last 2,125,000 and was flat-called by Michael Lavenburg in the small blind while Michael Duek in the big blind let go.

Adam Demersseman: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Michael Lavenburg: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} flop gave Lavenburg the top two pair while Demersseman fell behind but held a gutshot. Instead, the {10-Clubs} fell on the turn to restore the preflop order and the {4-Spades} river brought no further upset.

Rokita Takes a Small One From Sabat

Nível 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Roland Rokita opened to 240,000 in early position and Eddy Sabat defended the big blind.

The dealer spread the {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop and Sabat check-called for 160,000, while both players checked the {2-Hearts} turn and {4-Diamonds} river.

"Eight-high," said Sabat as he rolled over {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Rokita tabled {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} to claim the pot and leave Sabat wishing a five came on the river.

Hobbs Gets Revenge on Bittar

Nível 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
James Hobbs
James Hobbs

Kamal Bittar and James Hobbs, who tangled in an all-in pot earlier in the day that saw Bittar take the chip lead from his opponent by cracking kings with queens, were just involved in another massive pot that saw Hobbs get some retribution.

Bittar bet 425,000 from early position on a flop of {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Hobbs called from under the gun. The turn came the {j-Hearts} and Hobbs checked once again, then called when Bittar bet another 700,000.

The river came the {9-Spades} and Hobbs snap-shoved for 4,335,000. Bittar asked for a count as he tanked for several minutes.

"Sorry," he told the rest of the table.

"No problem. Take your time," Damian Salas replied.

Bittar eventually flicked in a chip to call as Hobbs turned over {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a full house. Bittar went to muck his hand but the dealer forced him to turn over {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}.
