Zhang Sends Barfield Into the Tank

Nível 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Feature Table A

Andrew Barfield raised to 65,000 in early position and Zilong Zhang called from the big blind. The flop came {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Zhang checked to Barfield who continued with a bet of 70,000. Zhang check-raised to 235,000 and Barfield quickly called.

The turn brought the {7-Diamonds} and Zhang took a minute before counting out a bet of 440,000. Barfield stuck around to see the {k-Hearts} on the river. Zhang tanked for another minute and made a bet of 1,340,000.

Barfield dipped deep into the tank for over three minutes and finally released his cards to the muck. Zhang collected the pot and asserted himself as the chip leader at the feature table.

Dansker Spikes River to Nearly Triple

Nível 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Fernando Witt Vivan moved all in for 450,000 in early position and German Dansker moved in all of his 550,000 chips in the hijack. Action folded to Moshe Refaelowitz in the big blind and he contemplated for a couple of minutes before putting in the chips to call.

Fernando Witt Vivan: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
German Dansker: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Moshe Refaelowitz: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop gave Dansker a flush draw as the {3-Diamonds} turn left Refaelowitz one card away from a double knockout. However, the {5-Clubs} spiked the river to give Dansker a flush and a near triple, while Vivan was sent to the rail.

Finger Flops Two Pair

Nível 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Martin Finger
Martin Finger

Martin Finger was all-in preflop for 370,000 and was called by Merijn van Rooij on the secondary feature table.

Martin Finger: {a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Merijn van Rooij: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Both players saw the {a-Spades} in the window, which was followed by the {2-Spades}{j-Spades}, giving Finger two pair. The {6-Spades} brought in some chop outs but Finger received all of the pot after the {10-Clubs} completed the board.

Tabor Doubles; Shakerchi Out

Nível 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Talal Shakerchi
Talal Shakerchi

A short while ago, Charles Tabor had doubled with {a-}{a-} against the {k-}{k-} of Jordyn Miller.

The {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop had given Miller a set, but the {j-Hearts}{10-Spades} runout improved Tabor to a straight to double up and stay alive.

One player who has hit the rail is Talal Shakerchi who, at the same table, lost out with {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} against the {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} of an opponent on a {a-}{5-}{2-}{q-}{5-} board to be eliminated.

Big Slick Good For Guenni

Nível 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Mikael Guenni opened to 75,000 from under the gun and was called by Kamal Bittar from middle position.

Guenni continued for 65,000 after the {3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop and received a call from Bittar.

Action checked through the {6-Spades} turn to the {k-Clubs} river where again both players checked. Guenni tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for the rivered pair, good enough to take down the pot and move his stack back up above 1,000,000.

Rocco Leaves a Little Behind

Nível 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Michael Duek raised to 60,000 in the cutoff and Michael Rocco defended from the big blind. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Rocco checked to Duek who continued for 60,000. Rocco check-raised to 180,000 and Duek called.

The turn brought the {5-Clubs} and Rocco tossed in another bet of 230,000. Duek still called and the {9-Clubs} completed the board. Rocco pushed out a bet of 510,000, leaving just 30,000 chips behind. Duek wasted little time and sent his cards into the muck.

Ace in the Window for Ramsey

Nível 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Jose Barbosa opened to 60,000 from middle position before Nicholas Ramsey jammed for just under 500,000. Thiago Pirani called from the big blind and Barbosa folded.

Ramsey, with {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, moved ahead of his opponent's {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} on the {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop. The {5-Clubs} turn and {8-Hearts} river completed the board and Ramsey celebrated before raking in the pot.

Wilson Doubles Through Refaelowitz

Nível 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

On a {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop with roughly 450,000 in the pot, Moshe Refaelowitz had 85,000 chips over the betting line in the small blind and was facing an all-in by Austin Wilson on the button for 630,000. Refaelowitz thought about it and called.

Austin Wilson: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Moshe Refaelowitz: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Wilson had a slightly better kicker, but needed to fade a diamond in addition to a jack. The {5-Spades} turn changed nothing, and the {6-Clubs} river secured Wilson's double as he breathed a sigh of relief and collected the pot.

Thivyanathan Goes For It All

Nível 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Aaron Thivyanathan opened to 60,000 on the button and received a single call from Sriharsha Doddapaneni out of the big blind.

Doddapaneni checked on a flop of {k-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and then called when Thivyanathan continued for 50,000.

The {6-Clubs} turn saw Doddapaneni check for a second time. Thivyanathan responded by betting enough to force his opponent all in. After some consideration, Doddapaneni decided to wait for a better spot and folded, leaving himself short stacked.
