flop, Florian Guimond had 45,000 over the betting line in middle position and was facing a raise to 175,000 by Dan Smith in the big blind.
The
landed on the turn, Smith checked, and Guimond went into the tank. Multiple television cameras surrounded the table to catch the action, and after a while, the clock was called. Guimond eventually bet 185,000, and Smith called.
The
completed the board and Smith checked. Guimond then moved all in to cover Smith's stack of approximately 600,000. Smith checked his cards again and deliberated, but ultimately mucked his hand to concede the pot to the Frenchman without a showdown.
