Esposito Over One Million Chips

Nível 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

John Esposito raised on the button and the big blind made the call. The flop revealed {j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and the big blind check-called a small continuation bet from Esposito.

The {a-Spades} turn brought no betting action and on the {6-Spades} river, the big blind quickly check-folded after Esposito sent 50,000 on the middle. Esposito, who started on Day 3 with 285,000, has no reach the million-mark in chips.

Pustina Takes it Down

Nível 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The under-the-gun player opened to 11,000 and the middle position called, but when action came back around Vlastimil Pustina in the small blind decided the price of poker was going up and bumped it to 52,000.

The original raiser folded and the middle position player decided to make the call and the heads-up players saw the flop of {q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}.

Pustina then led out for 45,000 and his opponent quickly folded.

Urodlivchenko Makes the Hero Call with King High

Nível 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action was caught on the {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop with Stanislav Urodlivchenko checking in middle position with {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. David Peters with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} also checked.

The same action took place on the {2-Clubs} turn, which brought in the {a-Diamonds} river. Urodlivchenko made it a trio of checks before Peters fired in for 23,000.

Urodlivchenko kept Peters honest and he chucked in the call with king high, only to see he had beaten.

Cain Departs in Vain

Nível 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Joseph Cain got his shorter stack of around 80,000 in before the flop and was instantly looked up by Vuong Do with the far covering stack.

Joseph Cain: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Vuong Do: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

There was no ace or broadway straight on the {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} board and that spelled the end for Cain, who left the table with a "nice playing with you guys, experience of a lifetime." Almost outside of the reach of the table, he then added a few curse words before leaving the tournament area.

Moon Keeps the Run Good Going With Big Slick

Nível 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Benjamin Moon
Benjamin Moon

Ben Moon raised to 11,000 from under the gun and only Moran Merdinger called from the big blind.

Merdinger checked on the {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-} flop and Moon cut out a stack of 50,000, enough to cover Merdinger. She called and was at risk.

Moran Merdinger: {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Ben Moon: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

It was a cooler flop as Merdinger had flopped a straight with an open-ended straight flush draw, while Moon had the ace-high flush draw.

The turn brought the {3-Hearts} to put Moon in front with his flush and the river bricked off as Merdinger was eliminated.

Moon has had quite a spin-up today, starting with just 33,000. He's now nearing half a milly late in the day.

Another Hero Call on the Feature Table

Nível 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

GGPoker Qualifier Stefan Jedlicka opened to 10,000 with {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and was called by Raman Afanasenka from the big blind with {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

Afanasenka paired up in the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop and check-called a bet of 6,000 before the {2-Hearts} turn checked through. Afanasenka filled up on the {9-Clubs} river and led out for 25,000.

Emulating Stanislav Urodlivchenko from the hand prior, Jedlicka made the hero call only to see that his opponent had a made hand.

Walker Sends Aido Walking

Nível 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With 28,000, six big blinds, Sergio Aido moved all in from under the gun. Edo Walker III raised to 64,000 fro middle position. All other players folded and the two were off to a runout.

Sergio Aido: {k-}{8-}
Edo Walker III: {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Aido was dominated by a better king and looking for help. The board ran out {q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} to give Walker III the win and send Aido to the sidelines.

Kenney Climbing

Nível 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

A player in middle position opened to 11,000 and was called by the small blind as well as Bryn Kenney out of the big blind.

The small blind checked on a flop of {8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{6-Spades} and Kenney led out for 14,000. The middle position player released his hand but the small blind made the call.

The {9-Clubs} turn saw the small blind check for a second time. Kenney amped up the ante, firing off 54,000. The small blind seemed suspicious and contemplated his options for quite some time. Eventually, he opted to wait for a better spot and folded.

Kenney showed the {j-Spades}{2-Spades} for the semi-bluff as he continued to build a big stack. With both Kenney and Ali Imsirovic now up over 1,000,000, it should make for an interesting conversation about their ongoing situation were they to turn their current momentum into a deep run.

Ducks Battle Past Big Slick For Mermelstein

Nível 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Andrew Kelsall raised under the gun. Aaron Mermelstein three-bet to 23,000 from middle position. The small blind jammed for 95,000. Kelsall stepped out of the line of fire and Mermelstein called after a few moments of thought.

Mermelstein had the slightest of leads with the {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} against the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} of his opponent.

The board ran out {3-Spades}{10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} to uphold the ducks as the best hand and bust the player holding ace-king.
