Abernathy Chipping Up on Davis

Nível 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The board already read {a-Clubs}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} in a heads-up pot with around 9,000 in the pot when Ian Davis checked from the big blind to Samantha Abernathy who bet 3,300. After some thinking, Davis raised it to 11,500 and Abernathy called.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and Davis fired 15,000, which was quickly called by Abernathy. Davis tabled {7-Hearts} for two pair but only to see {a-Spades}{10-Spades} in Abernathy's hand for a better two pair.

Lichtenberger Loses Some to Aguiar

Nível 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs} board, Andrew Lichtenberger bet 17,500 in the big blind and Jonathan Aguiar called in the cutoff.

The {6-Hearts} completed the board and Lichtenberger moved out 60,000 chips to cover his opponent's stack of a bit less. Aguiar called.

"You win," declared Lichtenberger as he could only show {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}, while Aguiar tabled {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} to claim the pot with his full house.

Seidel Loses A Small One

Nível 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Erik Seidel opened to 2,700 from under the gun and received a sole call from the button.

Seidel continued for 2,000 after the {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{k-Spades} flop only to see his opponent make it 4,000 to go. The nine time bracelet winner tossed in calling chips and the two were off to the turn.

The {5-Hearts} turn was met by a check from Seidel with the button continuing their aggression with another bet of 4,000. That second barrel was still not enough to convince Seidel to give up as he instead flatted.

Both players checked on the {5-Spades} river and Seidel turned over {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. That holding was not sufficient to secure the pot, however, as the button revealed he held {q-}{10-} for the superior two pair.

Calling Kyle Collins

Nível 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a heads-up flop of {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, Patrick Hagenlocher bet 16,000 after his opponent, Kyle Collins, checked. Collins made the call and both players went to the turn.

The turn came the {3-Spades} and both players checked.

On the river {2-Hearts}, Collins checked again and Hagenlocher bet again for 45,000 and Collins had to think about that one. After a few moments, Collins made the call, to which Hagenlocher just shook his head and tabled {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for eight-high. Collins then showed his {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a pair of kings to take down the pot.

Linde Makes the Nuts and Gets Paid

Nível 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Dominick Sannino raised it up from under the gun and was called by Dylan Linde on the button. The flop fell {7-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Sannino continued with a bet which Linde still called.

With around 12,000 in the pot now, the {8-Spades} landed on the turn. Sannino tossed in a bet of 6,000 and Linde called once again. The {j-Diamonds} completed the board and Sannino fired one last barrel of 12,000. Linde raised to 50,300 this time and Sannino looked him up.

Linde flipped over {a-Spades}{6-Spades} for the nut flush while Sannino was left with {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for a set of eights.

Dzivielevski Outduels Fox

Nível 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Yuri Dzivielevski
Yuri Dzivielevski

Picking up the action on the flop, Elio Fox in the big blind was involved in a hand with Yuri Dzivielevski from the cutoff. With the board reading {9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} Fox checked to Dzivielevski who led out for 2,200. Fox responded with a raise to 5,300, which Dzivielevski called.

The {a-Clubs} turn saw Fox check and Dzivielevksi, unconcerned with the previous raise, fire off 4,000. That bet was enough to convince Fox to lay down his hand and send some much needed chips the Brazilian pro's way.

Jaka Fades a Flush to Double Up

Nível 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Faraz Jaka and Jonathan Roy went heads-up to a flop of {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} and it didn't take very long for them to get all of their chips in the middle. It was Jaka who was at risk for 38,700 but held the best hand at the time.

Faraz Jaka: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Jonathan Roy: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}

Jaka was looking to dodge spades and aces in order to keep his Main Event hopes alive. The {j-Hearts} on the turn and the {2-Hearts} on the river were safe as Jaka faded plenty of cards for a double up.
