Panchumarthi Takes One Down

Nível 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

The heads-up action was picked up with 12,000 in the pot and a board of {3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

The late position player led out to the tune of 6,000. Sridhar Panchumarthi, in middle position, thought for a minute or so before moving all in for around 29,000, just under the total stack of his opponent. This sent the opponent into the tank for several minutes.

"If I fold will you show me?" he asked, but received no response. "Gotta be a set, right?" he thought out loud.

After some time in the tank, the opponent made the laydown.

"I'll give you a dollar," he offered, gesturing to Panchumarthi's cards, still trying to see what his hole cards were. Panchumarthi silently declined the offer, pushing his cards towards the dealer and into the muck.

Taylor's Aces Take From Eveslage

Nível 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

With roughly 6,000 in the pot on a {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs} board, the big blind checked, Paul Taylor checked in middle position, and Chad Eveslage bet 4,000 on the button. Only Taylor continued, and both players checked the {10-Clubs} river.

Taylor tabled {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}, while Eveslage, who won his maiden bracelet earlier this summer in Event #8: $25,000 High Roller, sent his cards into the muck.

River Kind To Sanchez

Nível 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

A player in middle position opened to 600 and received a single call from Diego Sanchez out of the big blind.

Both players checked through the {2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop to the {3-Hearts} turn where Sanchez led out for 1,000. His opponent responded with a raise to 3,000 which was not enough to get rid of Sanchez, who called.

Sanchez slowed down, checking after the {q-Spades} river. The middle position player did the same as Sanchez announced he had a queen, flipping over {q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

"Good hand," responded the middle position player as he showed the table he had held {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Pocket Kings Aren't Always What They're Cracked Up to Be

Nível 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Marc Goone
Marc Goone

It's always nice to look down at pocket kings. Well, unless you're up against pocket aces and it's early in the $10,000 buy-in World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event.

That's exactly what happened for Dennis Brand who was coolered by Marc Goone, a Twitch streamer and cash game player. The hand took place less than 15 minutes into Day 1 of poker's world championship event on Monday morning.

Neiman Activates His Trap Card

Nível 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Cherish Andrews raised from middle position and found one field caller before Joe Neiman raised his button to 2,200. Both Andrews and the third player called.

The flop showed up {7-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. All three players checked to head to a turn.

Andrews fired out 3,500 on the {8-Clubs} turn, only Neiman made the call. The river landed the {4-Clubs} and Andrews fired again, this time for 7,000. Neiman called quickly.

Andrews showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for flopped trips, but Neiman had {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for a better trips of his own.

Banducci Crushes Aces With Quads

Nível 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

The flop read {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. Tyrone Sietz moved all in over a raise from Michael Banducci who snap-called and tabled the {4-Hearts}{4-Spades} for flopped quads.

Sietz was exasperated and didn't even want to flip over his hand, the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} as the turn was the {q-Diamonds} and the river the {8-Hearts} to leave him with a short stack and give Banducci the nice pot.

The table claimed that quads had already been seen multiple times at that table, very early on into Day 1b.

Raminder Singh is chipping up in the early going.

Singh, born in India but resides in Florida, has more than $1,700,000 in recorded earnings.

He took down the RunGOOD All-Stars Pro-Am Invitational Entry here in Las Vegas last December.

Singh also has a long list of cashes and victories just this year.

With 22,000 already in the middle on the {3-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} river, Singh overbet to 31,000 and forced a fold.

He is already well over his starting stack with that pot.

Bart Hanson
Bart Hanson

Action was picked up as Bart Hanson's raise to 3,500 in the big blind was called by his opponent in the hijack, giving heads-up action to the flop.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Hanson continued for 2,500 and got another call. On the {2-Diamonds} turn, Hanson fired for 5,000, and his opponent snap folded.

Hanson, the owner of Crush Live Poker and a six-time WSOP final tablist, scooped the pot to add to his stack, which is among the bigger stacks in the field as he approaches the 100,000 mark.
