Eolis Sporting Big Hat and Big Stack

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Wendeen Eolis, who made history as the first woman to ever cash in the Main Event back in 1986, was facing a bet of 3,000 from an under-the-gun player on a board of {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

Eolis, wearing a large floral hat, min-raised to 6,000 and her opponent called. The river was the {5-Diamonds} and Eolis threw out 18,000.

"I fold," her opponent said, throwing away {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} as Eolis took down the big pot.

Floor Called Twice as Pena Wins Big Off Wong

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Francis Cruz Pena and William Wong were heads-up on the river with around 24,000 in the pot and the board showing {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Pena threw in a green 25,000 chip and announced "24."

Wong argued that Pena's bet should only be 2,400 instead of 24,000. "I bet 24 zero, zero, zero," Pena countered as the floor was called over. It was determined, with that much already in the pot, Pena's bet would stand as 24,000.

Wong then went into the tank before the clock was called and a floor person had to come to the table again. He eventually called, then mucked when Pena showed {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for a set of threes.

Walker Turns Full House, Snap-Calls River Bluff

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

With 13,500 on a {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{a-Hearts} board, Jinny Walker checked from the big blind to her opponent on the button.

The button threw in a massive 15,000-chip bet which Walker snapped off. Her opponent showed {k-Spades}{6-Spades} for a missed flush.

Walker had plenty of hand, turning over {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for a turned full house and scooped a big pot.

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

The river came the {9-Spades} to double pair the board. Patel led out for 7,500 which got Sitepu to fold after he thought it over for several moments.

Cooper Doesn't Get Paid on River

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action was picked up with 1,600 in the pot and a flop of {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} having already been dealt. The big blind led out for 1,400. Cory Cooper, in the hijack, raised to 3,500. His opponent called.

On the {2-Clubs} turn, Cooper was checked to and fired for 5,200. After a minute or so, his opponent counted out and put in calling chips.

On the {k-Clubs} river, the big blind took a bit, but eventually checked over to Cooper, who quickly grabbed a handful of chips and tossed them in the middle, for a bet of 8,000.

His opponent folded, and Cooper had a visible look of disappointment on his face, seemingly wanting to have been called and reconsidering the size of his river bet, wondering if he could have gotten more value. Nevertheless, the pot, which was already plenty big without the final street of value, belonged to Cooper.

Lee Takes With Superior Kicker

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

With roughly 8,000 in the middle on a {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{q-Hearts} board, Janet Kosloff in the small blind and Richard Lee in the hijack each committed another 5,500 to the pot.

On the {8-Clubs} river, Kosloff put out two red T-5,000 tournament chips for a bet of 10,000, and Lee called after some brief deliberation.

Kosloff tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, but it was no good as Lee showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} to take the pot with a slightly better kicker.

Danley Wins a Big One

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Martik Hoonanian had raised from under the gun before Daniel Wilson three-bet from middle position. Mike Danley called from late position.

Back on Hoonanian, he four-bet to 5,300. Both Wilson and Danley made the call.

The flop came {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Despite all of the preflop action, all three players checked the flop.

The turn brought the {9-Spades}. Hoonanion picked up his aggression with a delayed continuation-bet of of 8,000. Both Wilson and Danley came along with calls.

When the {k-Clubs} landed on the river, Hoonanian and Wilson both checked. Danley seems surprised to see them both check, but he did not return the favor. Danley put out a single green chip for a bet of 25,000. Hoonanian folded, but Wilson went deep into the tank.

"What the heck is going on in this hand?" Wilson asked the universe. "You turn a boat? You don't have an ace. That's a lot of chips this early."

Ultimately, Wilson decided to fold. Danley was kind enough to show the table his {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for the turned flush.

"I was hoping the board would pair," said Hoonanian. "I had an ace. You have an ace too?"

"With a queen," said Wilson.
