Graff "Almost Ties" With Deeb

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Duane Graff had opened from middle position before Freddy Deeb three-bet to 3,200 from the small blind. Graff made the call.

The flop was {7-Hearts}{a-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Deeb continued for 3,000. Graff made the call.

On the {j-Spades} turn, Deeb bet 3,500, Graff called again.

Both players checked the {3-Spades} river. Graff showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} for top pair and the winner.

"We almost tied," said Deeb. "I had ace-queen."

Grospellier Chops With Boat

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Bertrand Grospellier opened to 600 from the hijack, the button called, and the small blind called.

The dealer fanned the {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop, the small blind checked, and Grospellier bet 1,100. Both opponents continued.

The {j-Clubs} fell on the turn, the small blind checked, and Grospellier bet 3,500. The button folded and the small blind continued.

The {k-Diamonds} completed the board, the small blind checked, and Grospellier bet 16,000. His opponent jammed for not too much more, and Grospellier called.

Grospellier tabled {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, while his opponent revealed {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}, and the duo chopped the anticlimactic pot with the same rivered boat.

Andrade Silently Takes a Pot

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Gabriel Andrade was in the big blind and called a bet of 1,100 on a flop of {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. Both players checked the {7-Hearts} turn.

The river came the {5-Clubs} and Andrade led out for 3,700. His opponent gave it some thought before folding as Andrade, who usually enjoys entertaining his tablemates both with his play and singing, dragged in the pot without a noise.

Jerry Wong, a 2016 November Niner, recently took his seat at this table.

Perry Friedman opened from late position before getting three-bet to 2,300 from the player on the button. The small blind cold called and Friedman called as well.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. The player in the blinds checked. Friedman donk-led for 5,000 and both opponents folded.

Friedman flashed king-ten to the table.

"I didn't want to get run down by a diamond," he said as he raked the pot.

Stepuchin In the Mix

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Frank Stepuchin
Frank Stepuchin

Frank Stepuchin had just taken his seat before opening to 700 from under the gun. A player in middle position called as did both blinds to setup four-handed action heading to the flop.

The small and big blinds checked as did Stepuchin on the {9-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop. The middle position player led out for 1,600, eliciting folds from the blinds. "Sold!" exclaimed the ever flamboyant Stepuchin, football in hand, as he pushed his cards into the muck.
