Hands #63-66: Attenborough Slips to a Very Short Stack

Nível 39 : Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

Hand #63: Adrian Attenborough opened the action with a raise to 3,000,000 holding the {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} out of a short stack. Matthew Su three-bet to 7,000,000 on the button with the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and picked up a call by Attenborough.

They headed to the {j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop on which Attenborough check-folded to a bet worth 3,500,000.

Hand #64: John Eames made it 3,500,000 to go on the button with the {5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and earned the blinds as well as the big blind ante.

Hand #65: Michael Duek raised to 3,300,000 in a middle position holding the {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and picked up a call by second in chips Espen Jorstad with the {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. The {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} flop went check, check, and the {2-Spades} followed on the turn. Jorstad checked once more and so did Duek. That led to the {k-Spades} on the river, which brought four spades on the board.

Both checked once more and Duek won the pot with his pair of kings.

Hand #66: Su raised to 3,000,000 with the mighty {2-Spades}{2-Hearts} and collected the blinds and big blind ante in the last hand before a scheduled 20-minute break.
