Iaron Lightbourne
Iaron Lightbourne

Iaron Lightbourne jammed for 126,000 from late position after Ognjen Sekularac opened for 25,000. The latter called.

Lightbourne was ahead with his {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} while his opponent had the {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. The {q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} runout kept Lightbourne in contention for WSOP glory.

Big Swings for Seiver

Nível 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Scott Seiver
Scott Seiver

With a board showing of {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{q-Spades}, Julien Loire checked to Scott Seiver in the cutoff who bet 32,000. Loire called to see the river which was a {q-Diamonds}. Loire checked the river and Seiver moved all in and received a call right away. Loire showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and it was good to take down the pot, leaving Seiver with 48,000 in chips.

In the next hand, Eli Berg raised to 15,000, Seiver pushed his stack in and Berg called. The cards were on their backs and the dealer laid out the board.

Scott Seiver: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Eli Berg: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and the seven on the turn gave Seiver a set which was good for a double up.

In the very next had Seiver raised to 16,000 preflop and received a call from Brian Keith Etheridge. The flop came down {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Etheridge check-called Seiver's 16,000 bet.

The turn was a {5-Clubs} and it was checked to Seiver again who moved all in.

Brian Keith Etheridge: {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Scott Seiver: {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Seiver was ahead with a flopped pair of eights and the {5-Diamonds} on the river gave him two pair and a second double up to give him some breathing room and chips to play with.

Ronit Chamani: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Fabian Gumz: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
David Miscikowski: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Mike Vanier

Hand-for-hand play began with 208 players and in the first hand for it the bubble burst with three players heading to the wrong side of the rail.

Hand One

Brien Lee called the 112,000 all-in from Mike Vanier after opening to 16,000. Lee had {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} and was up against the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}. Lee would go on to make a full house on the {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{j-Clubs} runout.

Hand Two

Monish Thawani was all-in for crumbs with {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and was at risk to Stefan Schillhabel's {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}. Schillhabel made a set on the {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop and held out on the {a-Clubs} turn and {5-Spades} river to bring about the stone bubble.

Elijah Keding: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Simon Higgins: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
