De Silva Scores the Knockout

A middle-position player opened to 2,400 before Upeshka De Silva three-bet from the cutoff to 7,200.

The player in the small blind thought that wasn't enough, and he moved in for 32,600. Action folded back to De Silva who made the call after thinking for about a minute. He had the small blind well covered.

Mateos Makes the Right Call

With 10,000 in the middle and the flop showing , Adrian Mateos was first to act and checked to his opponent under the gun who also checked.

A showed up on the turn and Mateos check-called a pot-sized bet of 10,000.

With an showing on the river, Mateos once again checked and his opponent grabbed a stack of reds worth 30,000 and threw it into the middle. Mateos went in to the tank studying the board and after a few minutes made the call. His opponent flipped over
for a missed straight draw that left him with 6-high. Mateos showed for two pair, aces and queens to take down the monster pot.

Aronow's Prophecy Comes True

Berkey Slips River Check to Opponent, Gets it All
