"Start of a war," Shaun Deeb said as he completed and Scott Smile called. Deeb proceeded to bet down to seventh, with Smile calling the entire way.

Both players checked on seventh. "I have a boat. You take the low, I'll take the high," Smile joked as he showed a pair of fives in the hole. Deeb showed {3-}{7-} and took in the pot.

"Don't bust him. He's on my team," Allen Kessler called out from an adjacent table.

"How am I on your team. You're too cheap to do fantasy," Deeb shot back.

Salzillo opened up {6-}{2-}{3-} for 8-6-3-2-A. "Do you have a shot," a tablemate asked Shack-Harris.

"I do," Shack-Harris replied, but he flipped over a queen to pair up and was eliminated as Salzillo took in the pot.

Daniel Negreanu has had a disappointing 2022 World Series of Poker, and that didn't change on Day 1c of the Main Event, but he did receive a good luck charm from one player on the rail, so there's that.

A wholesome moment took place Tuesday evening inside Bally's when Arash Shahi, a fellow Canadian from Toronto, approached the GGPoker ambassador who was seated at his table during the $10,000 buy-in world championship event.

Casey Bogus is playing his first Razz tournament ever. Calvin Anderson is a two-time bracelet winner, one of which came in the $10,000 Razz Championship in 2018. But it was Bogus who came out on the right side of the most recent pot they played against each other.

Heads-up on seventh street, Anderson bet. "Raise," Bogus announced, and Anderson eventually called.

Bogus turned over {3-}{2-}{5-} for a 6-5-3-2-A and Anderson mucked. "Good river," Bogus said following the hand.
