Popejoy Steamrollering Table 147

Nível 18

Big O

The chips were in the middle preflop with Amir Wahab at risk for 32,000 chips against Michael Popejoy who eliminated David "Bakes" Baker in the previous hand.

Amir Wahab: {a-}{k-}{j-}{7-}{5-}
Michael Popejoy: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

It was a perfect flop of {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for Popejoy who practically flopped Wahab dead. The runout of {2-Hearts}{9-Spades} completed the board to eliminate Wahab and put Popejoy at the top end of the pack.

Krimerman makes Incredible (and Correct) Fold

Nível 18
Stanley Krimerman
Stanley Krimerman

Big O

"Stan Diego" Stanley Krimerman has proven to be arguably the most colorful character in the field over the past two days with his open shirts, protruding chest hair and a bit of beverage consumption. He's also showed he's got some chops on the felt, with the following hand a shining example.

Gregory Kolo bet pot preflop from the button and was called by Krimerman in the small blind.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades}, and Krimerman check-called another pot-sized bet.

On the {q-Hearts} turn, both players checked.

The river brought the {5-Clubs}, pairing the board, and after checking, Krimerman faced a bet of 40,000.

At that point, Krimerman said he flopped a set, turned the nut flush draw, then filled up on the river. He then showed {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-} and folded face up, sending nines full into the muck.

Kolo indulged Krimerman by showing that his fold was indeed correct as he showed {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{x-}{x-}{x-} for rivered quad fives.

Boatman Calls Krickl's Bluff

Nível 18

Big O

Kate Krickl bet 7,000 from middle position and was called by Barny Boatman in the big blind.

Both players checked the board of {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} until Krickl bet 10,000 on the river. Boatman made the call and revealed {k-Spades}{10-Spades} for kings and sixes which was enough to take the pot down.

Mori Spinning It Up

Nível 18

Big O

Tomoharu Mori in the cutoff bet 16,000 and was called by James Chen in middle position.

Both players checked the flop of {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, but Mori continued the aggression on the {2-Spades} turn for 20,000. Chen quickly folded and Mori was awarded the pot.

Mori started the day with 36,500 and has increased their stack six-fold.
