Phil Hellmuth (349,000), Michael Rocco (390,000), and Alex Foxen (68,000) will all return to play tomorrow. A full list of chip counts and seating assignments will be released shortly.

Not everyone was fortunate enough to make the cut for Day 2. David Peters, Daniel Negreanu, Maria Ho, Justin Bonomo, and Tony Dunst all entered the field but busted before the end of the day.

The 226 players who will contend for the coveted WSOP bracelet return on Friday, July 1st at 2 p.m. PDT in the Bally’s silver section. The schedule calls for 60-minute levels and they will play until only five players remain.

The PokerNews team will be back tomorrow to bring you live updates as they make their way towards the final table.

Nakache Surging Up The Leaderboard

Nível 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Eoghan O'Dea
Eoghan O'Dea

A PokerNews live reporter arrived at the table on the river with 40,000 in the middle and a board of {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{5-Hearts}.

The reporter was reliably informed by Tony Dunst that action was checked through from the flop to the river.

The middle position player bet 13,000 which was called by Eoghan O'Dea in the cutoff. Elie Nakache in the big blind bet 85,000 which garnered a fold from middle position.

The action was on O'Dea who was in the tank for a couple of minutes. The Irishman found a call and to his dismay Nakache turned over {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a flopped flush with the worst hand in poker. O'Dea mucks and Nakache started assembling his massive stack.

Secilmis Takes Massive Chip Lead

With 56,000 in the middle on a flop of {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, the small blind bet 16,000 and was met with a raise of 42,000 from Ozgur Secilmis in middle position. The small blind made the call.

Both players checked the {j-Diamonds} turn and the {8-Hearts} landed on the river. Secilmis bet 75,000, nearly half of his remaining stack. The small blind took some time before moving all in, which was snap-called by Secilmis for 181,000.

The small blind looked as white as a sheet when he turned over {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} whilst Secilmis slammed down {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for the flush to take down the biggest pot of the night and a commanding chip lead.

Daniel Negreanu went all in preflop and was called by one player, who then tabled {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

"Oh great, now I'm going to win, you know I'm going to win, right?" Negreanu assured his opponent as he tabled {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

And just like that the flop of {k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{a-Hearts} put him way in the lead.

"See, I told ya! I just knew, i think you knew, too!" Negreanu continued as the board completed with {2-Spades}{10-Spades} to give him a much-needed double up.

Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

With 6,600 in the middle on a flop of {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, Adrian Mateos bet 2,400 in the big blind and was called by Ludovic Geilich in the small blind.

The {10-Spades} on the turn allowed Mateos to continue the aggression to the tune of 15,000. Geilich made the call.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Mateos moved all-in for 39,000. Geilich took his time before making the call. Mateos rolled over {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for top pair and Geilich grimaced as he showed {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

Mateos has now moved above the six-figure mark and has left the Scotsman short.
