Sparkly-Hatted Deeb Sent Packing

Nível 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

PokerNews was late to the hand, but Shaun Deeb was getting up from the table and his opponent in the small blind was raking in a huge pot versus his button.

On a board of {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{9-Spades}, Igor Ioffe showed {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} which was good against Deeb's apparent {a-}{q-}{j-}{7-}, according to Ioffe.

Players at the table said that the action was as follows: Deeb raised button to 125,000, Ioffe three-bet to 325,000, Deeb made it 1,000,000 and Ioffe moved all in for 1,500,000 and Deeb called.

Keller's Kings Keep Coming

Nível 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Christopher Skinner raised the button before Christopher Keller bet pot from the small blind, which was enough to cover Keller.

After some thought, Keller made the call.

Christopher Skinner: {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Spades}
Christopher Keller: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The flop came {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{k-Clubs}, giving Keller top pair, but Skinner had the flush draw. The {4-Diamonds} turn and {k-Diamonds} river gave Keller trips to send Skinner to the rail.

Three Way All In Eliminates Merron And Triples Saliba Up

Nível 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Vivian Saliba
Vivian Saliba

After Vivian Saliba, Jihyum Min and Kyle Merron went three ways to the flop, it was Saliba who was moving all in from the big blind for 885,000 versus the early position continuation bet from Merron and raise from Min of 425,000 chips.

The board read {9-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Merron and Min got their chips in and we were in a three-way all-in spot, Merron with 980,000 at risk was covered by Min.

Vivian Saliba: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Kyle Merron: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Jihyum Min: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The {6-Diamonds} turn and {2-Diamonds} river ran out to give Saliba a flush tripling her up in a big way, eliminating Merron, while giving Min a small side pot.

Koppel Sends Mizrachi to the Rail

Nível 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Action picked up on the flop in a heads-up pot between Michael Mizrachi and Jared Koppel. Mizrachi had just moved all in for about 700,000 and Koppel made the call in position.

The flop read {3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

Michael Mizrachi: {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Jared Koppel: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Both players had the same open-ended straight draw, but Koppel was ahead with his ace high.

"I need a jack or a queen," said Mizrachi.

The {7-Spades} turn and {3-Diamonds} river were no help and Mizrachi was eliminated.

Sharma Busts One, Wins Big Side Pot

Nível 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Michael Sandoval raised to 140,000 preflop from early position, leaving himself with about 100,000 behind. From the small blind, Nishant Sharma bet pot and raised it up to 480,000. Guillaume Soumier called the raise from the big blind and Sandoval committed his last chips as well.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Nishant Sharma announced "pot," which meant an all-in bet with his remaining 990,000 chips. Soumier called fairly quickly to go to a three-way runout.

Michael Sandoval: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Guillaume Soumier: {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Nishant Sharma: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

Sharma had flopped top set, but both of his opponents had clubs, and Soumier also had an open-ender.

The {7-Hearts} on the turn ended all of that drama by giving Sharma the full house immediately. The {q-Diamonds} river made it official and Sharma scooped the large pot.
