Dirksen Shows an Ace

Nível 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Dustin Dirksen
Dustin Dirksen

Filippos Stavrakis was in the small blind in a heads-up pot against Dustin Dirksen in the big blind on a board of {7-Spades}{k-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

Stavrakis checked on the flop and called a bet from Dirksen. Stavrakis checked again on the {j-Spades} turn and Dirksen fired for 170,000. Stavrakis called.

Stavrakis checked a third time on the {q-Hearts} river and Dirksen moved all-in for over 400,000. Stavrakis went in the tank before folding.

"Show three red cards!" Eli Elezra asked Dirksen.

"I'll show one," Dirksen said before revealing the {a-Spades}.

"Naked ace! It's a naked ace," Elezra speculated.

Lee Frustrates Brown

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Seungjin Lee

Andrew Brown opened for 25,000 from the cutoff and Filippos Stavrakis called from the button. Seungjin Lee called from the big blind as well.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Brown continued for 35,000. Stavrakis got out of the way and Lee raised to 85,000. Brown called.

The {q-Spades} hit the turn and Lee fired again, this time for 130,000. Brown, who had about 420,000 behind, went deep into the tank and clearly expressed that he thought Lee was bluffing.

After a couple of minutes, Brown told Lee "I'll let you have this one, buddy" and sent his cards into the muck.

Amin Axed by Arieh in Set-Over-Set

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Rishi Amin was out of position in a heads-up pot against Josh Arieh on a board of {q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Spades}.

Amin bet 125,000 and Arieh raised all in with a stack of around 450,000. Amin called with less.

Rishi Amin: {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Josh Arieh: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Both players had flopped sets and Arieh had the best of it. The {2-Clubs} on the river didn't change things for Amin to be eliminated.
