Brown Busts Negreanu

Nível 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu was in a three-way pot against Eli Elezra and Andrew Brown on a board of {5-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs} with around 210,000 in the middle.

Negreanu put out a pot-sized turn bet and Elezra folded before Brown raised all in. Negreanu called off as the effective stack before pulling out his phone to film the runout.

"Better get this for the vlog," he said. "What do you got over there?"

Daniel Negreanu: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Andrew Brown: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

Brown had top two pair while Negreanu was looking for a heart or paint cards to make a straight. He couldn't improve as the river brought the {6-Diamonds} for Brown to scoop the massive pot and for Negreanu to hit the rail with the money bubble approaching.

Lee Frustrates Brown

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Seungjin Lee
Seungjin Lee

Andrew Brown opened for 25,000 from the cutoff and Filippos Stavrakis called from the button. Seungjin Lee called from the big blind as well.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Brown continued for 35,000. Stavrakis got out of the way and Lee raised to 85,000. Brown called.

The {q-Spades} hit the turn and Lee fired again, this time for 130,000. Brown, who had about 420,000 behind, went deep into the tank and clearly expressed that he thought Lee was bluffing.

After a couple of minutes, Brown told Lee "I'll let you have this one, buddy" and sent his cards into the muck.
