Vaca Grabs a Pot

Nível 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Candelaria Vaca opened in early position and picked up calls by the hijack and the big blind.

The dealer showed a flop {2-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and it checked to Vaca who continued for 3,000. Only the hijack made the call.

Both checked on the {2-Spades} turn and the {5-Spades} fell on the river. Vaca sent 5,000 in the middle and her opponent called, but only to muck after Vaca tabled {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for two pair.

Kings for Resnick

Nível 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Amber Whittington opened on the button to 1,100 and Anna Resnick three-bet to 3,200. The big blind pushed for her last 1,400 and Whittington called Resnick to create a side pot.

The flop fanned {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Resnick continued for 4,400, putting Whittington deep into the tank. The latter ended up folding and the cards were tabled:

Big Blind: {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Anna Resnick: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The {k-Clubs} on the turn improved Resnick's hand into a set of kings and the {q-Diamonds} completed the board to eliminate the big blind player.

Mikiyo Aoki raised from under the gun and was called by the player on the button and Michelle Bricknell in the big blind.

Double Up for Hoppe

Nível 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

The flop read {10-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} in a three-way pot with around 4,000 in the middle. Fernanda Lopes checked and so did the hijack before Laura Hoppe fired 13,000 into the pot from the cutoff, with around 3,000 left behind. It folded back to the hijack who decided to raise, putting Hoppe at risk and the latter called:

Laura Hoppe: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Hijack: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Hoppe had hit a straight and the rest of the board didn't help her opponent with the {8-Clubs} and the {4-Hearts} to give the pot to Hoppe.
