Sampo Ryynanen raised under the gun and was called by Nick Pupillo on the button. The Ryynanen drew one and Pupillo drew two.

Ryynanen bet on the second betting round, and Pupillo called. The Finn stood pat and Pupillo drew two again. Ryynanen bet and Pupillo raised the white flag and threw his cards into the muck.

Action was caught on the sixth street. Chambers bet, but Phanyaseng raised him. Chamber called, before Phanyaseng bet again. He called, not that happy, and Johnson Phanyaseng announced a 7-6. Enough to take the pot, Chambers showed only a 9-8.

Fabrice Soulier was caught with a short stack of 4,000, and all-in against Dane Coltman and a third player.
Soulier asked for one card, the third player asked for two cards and Coltman stood pat.

Coltman bet, the third player folded, and he could show his hand. With a 9-8, he was able to eliminate the French player, who confessed that he lost almost every hand he played in these first two hours of play today.

Daniel Negreanu is off to a great start today. A few minutes before the first break of the day, he was seen with almost 274,000.

On a Stud hand, he took some chips from Gilles Lamy with just a pair of kings in his two first hole cards. On the hand just after, he scooped another pot in Omaha 8 or better.

"He's lucky today", confessed Lamy. For now, he's among the big stacks.

Alexander Condon bet 3,800 from under-the-gun and was called by Nick Guagenti in the small blind and Steve Zolotow in the big blind.

The {k-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop allowed Condon to continue for 4,300 and was called by Guagenti, Zolotow folded.

The {5-Hearts} turn encouraged Guagenti to lead out for 11,600 which gained a call from Condon. The {a-Spades} came on the river and Guagenti put out a hefty bet of 40,000. Condon mulled over his decision before eventually folding.
