Panocki Is Not Joking

Nível 17 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

NL Hold'em

After a raise in the cutoff from Adrian Panocki to 12,500, Zak Lawson made it 42,000 from the small blind. Daniel Negreanu folded his big blind and Panocki took a minute. Then he called.

A flop of {8-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades} was bet by Lawson for25,000, and Panocki took another minute to think about the situation. Then he called.
The turn was a {9-Hearts} and Lawson did not slow down the action, betting a new 150,000.

It was Panocki to act and he started to take chip by chip. In his big beard, Daniel Negreanu is smiling, but not Panocki, who calmly announced to the dealer, after a good minute again, that he was all-in.

Lawson snap-folded his hand and Panocki took another big pot.

Alex Foxen Scratches Name Off List of "Best Without a Bracelet" w/ Big Win in $250K SHR!

Nível 17 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

The 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Event #50: $250,000 Super High Roller, the biggest buy-in of the summer, began with 56 entrants, and on Saturday the final eight returned to play down to a winner and their piece of a $13,944,000 prize pool. Alex Foxen began as the chip leader, and it took him just five hours to go wire-to-wire on his way to his first gold bracelet, and the $4,563,700 top prize, a new career-high.

“It really means a lot to me. It’s kind of been a monkey on the back. I’ve always wanted a bracelet. I’ve had some close spots and always been disappointed … this feels like a really special one to get my first in,” said Foxen, who was just one of three players at the final table without a bracelet. “To me, what means the most is consistent performance at the highest stakes. This is one of those, so it feels really good.”

Prior to the win, Foxen had just shy of $22 million in lifetime earnings, including a prior career-best $2,160,000 for finishing second in the 2018 Super High Roller Bowl.

Boat Over Boat For Negreanu

Nível 17 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Stud 8 or better

Peter Ippolito: {x-}{x-}/{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}/{x-}
Daniel Negreanu: {x-}{x-}/{j-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{k-Hearts}/{x-}
Adrian Panocki: {x-}{x-}/{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}/{x-}

Three players went to the last street, but when Daniel Negreanu bet and Peter Ippolito raised, Panocki jumped out of the hand.
Both Negreanu and Ippolito hit the raise cap, leaving Ippolito without almost nothing.

Negreanu showed {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{9-Spades} for a full house, kings full of jacks, and took the best from Ippolito who could not believe it. He had {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a smaller full house.
