Scott Seiver

No-Limit Hold'em

Down to 70,000, Scott Seiver announced "all in" in late position. From the small blind, Kijoon Park made it 125,000. From the big blind, Nick Guagenti instantly three-bet to 380,000. When action was back on Park, he announced "all in" and Guagenti quickly folded.

Scott Seiver: {j-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Kijoon Park: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Seiver was in real trouble and after a {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs} board, he was officially eliminated.

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Shortly after the elimination of Phil Hellmuth, Hye Park was the next player to leave the tournament floor, with chip leader David Bach doing the damage, showing a wheel on the table as Park was leaving.

Bach told PokerNews he and Park each drew two on the first draw, then Bach drew one while Park needed two, then on the final draw, Park drew one while Bach patted his wheel with his opponent drawing dead.

Hellmuth First Eliminated Of The Day

Nível 21 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

The tournament restarted for less than 15 minutes, and Phil Hellmuth is already the first player to leave the scene. He lost two big hands in row, in Stud 8 or Better, against Nick Guagenti and Warwick Mirzikinian.

On the first hand he lost, he made a straight but Guagenti had a higher straight. On the hand just after, he played another big pot.

Phil Hellmuth: {x-}{x-}/{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs}/{x-}
Kijoon Park: {x-}{x-}/{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{k-Clubs}/fold
Warwick Mirzikinian: {x-}{x-}/{a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}/{x-}

Hellmuth bet fifth street, and both Park and Mirzikinian called. Then on sixth street, Mirzikinian bet and only Hellmuth called, to see seventh. Mirzikinian bet again and Hellmuth tanked for a while with only 21,000 left. He finally made the fold and looked at second pot in row slipping away from him.

Andre Akkari took the last of him when the Brasilian made Aces and Sevens on the very next hand, and Phil Hellmuth was eliminated.

Tonight, a player will add or claim a new WSOP Gold Bracelet to his collection, thanks to Event #52: $2,500 Nine Game Mix at the 2022 World Series of Poker at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas.

A bunch of big names are ready to do battle, like Phil Hellmuth and Scott Seiver who will start at the same table, and the winner will be known tonight. David Bach leads the way, but he's chased by a thirsty mob of players who haven't said their last word yet, like Nick Guagenti or Mike Gorodinsky, who have almost the same stack to start this final day.

The victor could also come from abroad, with Sampo Ryynanen (Finland), Warwick Mirzikinian (Australia), Andre Akkari (Brazil), Phil Long (England), Christian Pereira (Argentina) or Adrian Panocki (Poland) who will take their best shots. Whatever happens today, one of those players will take the $219,799 first-place prize and a WSOP gold bracelet.
