Deeb Sees Through The Steal

Nível 13 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Five time WSOP bracelet winner Shaun Deeb was under the gun, and bet 12,000. Everyone except the button folded, and Deeb's challenger raised to 41,000.

Without any hesitation, Deeb asked how much he had left, and tossed in enough chips to put the button at risk.

The button called, and Deeb was ahead.

Opponent: {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Shaun Deeb: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

When the flop of {3-Spades}{a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} fell, the button would need running cards to best the former player of the year, but the turn of {4-Diamonds} cemented the pot for Deeb, and the {5-Clubs} made it official.

Deeb was heard telling another player, "It's only fair, he doubled through me first".

McGavin Takes Big Pot

Nível 13 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Button: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Sam McGavin: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The button took the lead after a flop of {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for top pair, but the {k-Clubs} on the turn left the button drawing dead. The {j-Hearts} completed the board and McGavin takes a sizable pot.

Briotti Flips Versus Ace King

Nível 12 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
