Eight is Good for Nakamura

Nível 5 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Stud 8 or Better

Tamon Nakamura: {x-}{x-}/{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}/{x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-}/{3-Clubs}{j-Spades}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}/{x-}

Tamon Nakamura bet on fourth street and was called by both opponents before another bet on fifth got only one call.

Both players checked down on sixth and seventh.

"I have nothing," his opponent said as Nakamura showed {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} for just a pair of eights.

"Eight is good. Beast," tablemate Alex Outhred said as the Japanese star scooped in the pot.

Patrick Lucky to Chop With Bronshtein

Nível 5 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Stud 8 or Better

Mike Patrick: {x-}{x-}/{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}/{x-}
Yuval Bronshtein: {x-}{x-}/{a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}/{x-}

Yuval Bronshtein bet on fourth and fifth streets as PokerNews's Mike Patrick called.

Both players checked on sixth before Patrick bet out on seventh. Bronshtein called.

"Just the deuces," Patrick said, preparing to hand over the pot to the two-time bracelet winner.

But Bronshtein could only turn over {j-Spades}{k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for an eight-low as they chopped the pot.

The Champ Moves All In

Nível 5 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Ryan Leng, the defending champion of this event, just took his seat and already found himself moving all in for his tournament life.

With the flop showing {6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, Leng bet 3,000 from the small blind and the player in the big blind called. Two players in early position folded as Leng and his opponent went heads-up to the turn.

Leng bet another 9,000 on the {2-Clubs} turn and the big blind quickly called. When the river came the {2-Spades}, Leng announced he was all in for around 10,000 and his opponent quickly folded.

Strelitz Calls Down on Seventh

Nível 4 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Razz

Daniel Strelitz: {x-}{x-}/{3-}{5-}{a-}{q-}/{x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-}/{5-}{6-}{a-}{k-}/{x-}
Andrew Brown: {x-}{x-}/{8-}{4-}{x-} - folded

Daniel Strelitz completed and was called both by an opponent to his left and bracelet winner Andrew Brown. Strelitz bet again on fourth and both opponents called.

A bet on fifth was enough to get rid of Brown, but the other opponent called that bet and another on sixth.

Strelitz checked on seventh, then flicked in a chip when his opponent bet.

"You're good," Strelitz's opponent said. Strelitz showed {6-}{2-}{10-} for 6-5-3-2-A to win the pot.
