Welcome to the final day of Event #48: $1,500 Eight Game Mix 6-Handed, where Jason Stockfish leads a veteran field into Day 3 with a sizeable chip advantage.

Only the final 16 players remain from a field of 295 entrants that created a total prize pool of $927,825, with the eventual winner earning $180,783 and the coveted gold bracelet.

Many notable players will be giving chase, including WSOP bracelet winners Eric Buchman, Robert Campbell and Adam Friedman. Stockfish will be chasing his first career bracelet after four runner-up finishes, including this event back in 2016. He enters the day holding a big lead over Jake Liebeskind in second place.

There will also be some noteworthy names on the short stack when the action resumes Friday at 2 p.m. local time, including Richard Bai, Dustin Dirksen and Noah Bronstein.

Play will begin on Level 26 with limits of 40,000/80,000, and will continue six-handed in an eight-game rotation that includes No-Limit Hold’em, Seven Card Stud, Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, Razz, Pot-Limit Omaha, Limit Hold’em, Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better, and 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw.
