Wasserson Scoops a Big One, Chung Brought Low

Nível 20 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
Eric Wasserson
Eric Wasserson

Craig Chait: {x-}{x-}/{a-Clubs}{3-Spades}{7-Hearts}{q-Clubs}/{x-}
Eric Wasserson: {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Spades}/{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Christopher Chung: {x-}/{7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}/{x-}

Craig Chait completed showing an ace and two players made the call, Eric Wasserson on his left and Christopher Chung.

Chait bet fourth, fifth, and sixth streets, and both Chung and Wasserson called all three, building a large three-way pot.

On seventh, Chait slowed down and checked. Wasserson thought for about 10 seconds and went for a bet. Chung and Chait both called.

"Trips," announced Wasserson, showing his two sixes in the hole. Chung banged the table in frustration as he looked at his cards.

No one made a low, so Wasserson's hand scooped it all to put him above two million.

Nível 20 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Andrew Yeh raised and called a three-bet by Mike Gorodinsky, who bet the {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop and received a call. On the {a-Spades} turn, Gorodinsky check-called a bet and they checked the {a-Hearts} on the river.

Gorodinsky flipped over the {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for aces and kings but Yeh had that beat with the {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for trips aces.

Andrew Yeh bet fifth street with a three-card flush board showing and was called by Bryce Yockey with a low board. Both paired on sixth and Yeh bet, Yockey raised and received a call. On Seventh, Yeh check-called and had the nut flush while Yockey had the low.

Stud

Eric Rodawig: {q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}/{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}/{2-Spades}
Craig Chait: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}/{a-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades}/{7-Diamonds}

Eric Rodawig couldn't find anything to play in several hands of stud and was very short. He moved all in for his last 5,000 and Craig Chait completed showing an ace. The two were off to a runout heads up.

Rodawig found a pair of jacks on fifth to give him some hope, but Chait found kings up on sixth. Rodawig was drawing to one of the two remaining jacks on seventh. He didn't find one, so he was eliminated as Chait climbed over one million chips.

Andres Korn bet on fourth street and John Racener called. Korn bet again on fifth street and Racener again called. Racener checked on sixth street and Korn checked back.

No Major Action in Razz

Nível 19 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

The action on table one breezed through the latest Razz orbit and no major pots took place. Ben Lamb and Jerry Wong lost some chips, as did Brad Ruben, while Mike Gorodinsky and Ismael Bojang chipped up.

Bojang's latest win came off sixth street when he had {a-}{a-}{8-}{5-} showing and bet. Wong had a pair of sixes by then and quickly folded.
