The surviving 97 of 192 entrants from opening day will resume their chase, along with any new registrants prior to the start of Level 11. Defending champion Kevin Gerhart and former event winner Anthony Zinno remain in the hunt, as do Shaun Deeb, Mike Matusow and reigning WSOP Main Event champion Koray Aldemir.
Play will resume Tuesday at 2 p.m. local time with seven levels of 90-minutes each, along with a dinner break after Level 14. The tournament will continue through a five-game rotation, which includes Limit Hold'em, Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, Razz, Seven Card Stud, and Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better.
Don’t miss any of the action as the PokerNews live reporting team will have full coverage on the road to crowning a new WSOP champion.
A new table will have to be opened as 17 players entered before the start of action. Pretty much all contestants are already here, only Alex Livingston is awaiting his seat assignment for the time being. The action is expected to kick off shortly and all late entrants can be found below.
