A player under the gun opened to 300,000 and was called by the cutoff. Alexander Burton moved all in for 1,400,000 from the button only to see Chris Moorman re-jam out of the small blind. Both the under the gun and cutoff players folded and Burton was at risk.

It was a classic race until the 
flop put Moorman into the lead. Burton did have a flush draw but unfortunately for him the 
turn and 
river failed to improve his hand, sending him to the rail just shy of the final three tables. Moorman, meanwhile, has opened up a large gap at the top of the chip counts.
