Milllard Not Afraid

Nível 22 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

On a heads-up board of {k-Hearts}{a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, James Millard checked to his opponent, Dae Woong Song, who then bet 150,000 into the pot of 400,000, which left himself with less than a pot-sized bet behind. After some thinking, Millard made the call.

The players then checked through the river {6-Diamonds} and Millard showed {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} for top two pair and Song mucked.

Joining the action on the flop of {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{5-Spades} in a three-bet pot, Conrad Simpson bet 105,000 from the big blind and Elio Fox called from early position.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Simpson checked to Fox, who bet 200,000. Simpson called.

The river was the {a-Spades} and Simpson checked again. Fox paused then moved all in for 875,000, covering Simpson. Simpson went deep into the tank for over three minutes before frustratedly throwing his hand into the muck. He said he had ace-king as Fox took down his first big pot of the day.

Houghton Delivers Knockout

Nível 22 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Action was picked up after Daniel Maor jammed from under the gun with the effective stack of about 215,000. He got one call, from Kevin Houghton in the cutoff.

Daniel Maor: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Kevin Houghton: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Houghton was behind only briefly, as the {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} flop paired his ace. The board completed {3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, offering no help to Maor, who was sent to the rail on his first hand of the day.
