Levy's Luck Runs Out

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Salah Levy: {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}/{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts}
George Shahrezay: {4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}/{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Kenny Hsiung: {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{x-}/{3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}

Salah Levy had quite the early resurgence in the early goings of Day 2 but found himself all in and at risk pre-draw against George Shahrezay and Kenny Hsiung.

Shahrezay called bets from Hsiung on fourth, fifth and sixth street before action checked back on seventh.

Shahrezay made a low to lock up half of the main and side pot while Hsiung's two pair was good enough to scoop half of the side pot.

Levy peeled his last card, but was unable to improve on his pair of eights and bust. This confirmed Hsiung's claim for the rest of the main pot and he became one of the biggest stacks in the room.

Kural Crashes Out; Sarle Survives

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Dominick Sarle: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}/{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Hasan Kural: {k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}/{3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
George Shahrezay: {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}/{a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Event #17: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball winner Dominick Sarle was all in pre-draw and was up against Hasan Kural and George Shahrezay.

Kural, who was a short stack, and Shahrezay checked all the way down to seventh street. Shahrezay's bet was enough to put his opponent at risk and Kural called.

Neither of the three players had a low so it was certain that this pot would not be split. Shahrezay's aces up were ahead of Kural's pair of sixes so his exit was confirmed.

Sarle however, made a full house on sixth street to scoop the main pot and get a massive boost to his stack.

Campbell Continues to Crush; Kessler and Gargiulo Ousted

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Chad Campbell: {x-}{x-}/{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
David Mcgivney: {x-}{x-}/{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades}

Chad Campbell completed on third street and was only called by David McGivney.

Campbell's bet was check-called on fourth street but McGivney let his cards go after Campbell bet on fifth street.

Campbell has been at the upper echelons of the chip counts from Day 1 and shows no signs of letting up.

McMillan and Bremer Chop Before Break

Nível 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Ronald McMillan completed and was called by Andreas Bremer on third street.

Bremer called bets on fourth and fifth street before both players check sixth and seventh street through.

McMillan talk half with his seven-five low while Bremer's pair of aces was good for the remainder.

Bunch Binks Wheel to Eliminate Woods

Nível 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
James Woods
James Woods

James Woods: {q-Spades}{7-Clubs} / {j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} / {8-Clubs}
John Bunch: {a-Spades}{4-Hearts} / {5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} / {3-Hearts}
Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{q-Hearts} - folded on sixth street

James Woods was all-in on fourth street in a three-way pot against John Bunch and another player. Fifth street checked through and Bunch bet on sixth street to get the third player in the hand to fold.

"Just a low," Bunch said to let Woods know he was ahead with his pair of sevens.

But Bunch made a Wheel on seventh street to scoop the pot and send the acclaimed actor out of the tournament.

Late Level 2 Exits

Nível 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Russo Clips Peglow

Nível 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Dustin Peglow was all in pre-draw after he got into a rasing battle with Louis Russo.

Dustin Peglow: {6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}/{4-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{j-Clubs}/{9-Diamonds}
Louis Russo: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}/{k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Spades}/{8-Diamonds}

Russo had rolled up kings but Peglow was still drawing to straight and a low. However, the runout was unkind to the at-risk player and he failed to improve, which marked the end of his tournament life.
