Play has concluded in Day 2 of Event #3: $2,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em at the 2022 World Series of Poker at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas and ten players remain. They will return on Friday, June 3, to hunt for a WSOP gold bracelet and the top prize of $320,059.

Leading the way is three-time WSOP bracelet winner Scott Seiver, who holds the chip lead with 6,150,000, good for just over 61 big blinds. Seiver boasts one of the most impressive poker resumes of all time, with over $24 million dollars in lifetime recorded earnings, Seiver is considered by many to be one of the greatest poker players of all time, and a bracelet tomorrow will further solidify his reputation as one of the game's all-time greats.

Following him in the chip counts is David Goodman who bagged up 3,900,000 and Steve Zolotow on 3,125,000. Goodman knocked out Cord Garcia towards the end of the night to soar up the chip counts when Garcia’s pocket nines could not hold against the pocket fives of Goodman, who made a straight on the river. Zolotow, who at 77, ranks as the oldest player at the final table, possesses two bracelets of his own and a third bracelet will add to this former Mayfair Club member’s stacked resume.
