Choi Doubles Through Cervantes

Nível 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Jaime Cervantes raised to 1,200 from under the gun and David Coleman made the call from the middle position. Albert Choi three-bet to 3,800 from the cutoff for the action to fold back to Cervantes. He made the call and so did Coleman.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades}, it was checked to Choi who continued with a bet of 8,500 which only Cervantes called.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Cervantes checked again. Choi barreled bet of 16,500 over the line to leave himself with only 5,100. Cervantes took a few seconds and then called again.

The {4-Clubs} completed the board for Choi to flick in his last two chips for the shove but he acted out of turn. Cervantes checked for Choi to do the same as he did earlier and Cervantes called to see. Choi tabled the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for two pair, aces and fours, with the king-kicker. Cervantes glanced at his cards and wanted to muck but the dealer prompted for the forced reveal. Cervantes flashed the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for the same two pair but lower queen-kicker.
