Stepuchin Binks Turn

Frank Stepuchin managed to navigate his way to heads-up play. On a flop reading Stepuchin in the big blind led out for 16,000 into a pot of roughly 24,000. The player on the button raised to 31,000 and was called by Stepuchin.

Stepuchin quickly shoved his remaining stack into the middle on the turn and his opponent called just as quickly to put Stepuchin at risk.

Stepuchin had found a fortunate turn to put him way out in front of his opponent, who was now drawing to just two outs. He could not find any help on the river, however, and Stepuchin took down a massive pot to put him well in the lead.

Shortly after Stepuchin was seen bagging up having secured a spot in the second round and at least $5,835.
