Vieira Don't Waste Time

Nível 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Joao Vieira was one of the last player to register this event and did not waste any time to build a stack.

First, he went all-in with {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} from the cutoff and was called by the player in the big blind with {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}.
Board came {q-Clubs}(Qh}{2-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Joao had 80,000.

Then, not that much later, he opened {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} and the player in the big blind announced all-in for almost 80,000.
He called and discovered {k-Spades}{7-Spades} for his opponent.

Board came {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Joao secured another double up.

Double Up For Nuwwarah

Nível 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action was caught when Mo Nuwwarah was all-in before the flop. It was a flip situation and Nuwwarah had around 55,000.

Mo Nuwwarah: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Board came {4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Nuwwarah was able to survive and double up his stack.

On his left side, he will have to pay attention to one of the biggest stack in this room, the one of Terence Reid.

Cooler For Foxen, Doubles Haner

Nível 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

In a three way pot on the flop, with 35,000 in the middle, the under-the-gun player bet 11,000. Alex Foxen in middle position raised to 30,000 and the Bill Haner in the big blind called Foxen's raise. The intial better folded.

Heads-up to a turn and Foxen moved all-in when checked to and Bill Haner snapped off tabling {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} against Foxen's {a-Spades}{j-Spades}.

Foxen had outs but the river wasn't an Ace or Jack, thus Haner got the decent-sized double.

Two Hands For Ivey

Nível 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Phil Ivey just registered after the dinner break : he played two hands and busted.

After a raise to 8,000 from Quoc Le, Ivey decided to shove on his second hand. He was snap call by his opponent.

Phil Ivey: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}
Quoc Le: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

Board came {7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Spades} and so Ivey was eliminated.

Gheba Two Pair Good For a Huge Pot

Nível 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Daniyal Gheba moved all-in on a {j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs} board, for 110,000 chips from the blinds, with 75,000 already in the pot. His opponent, in early position, tanked for a short while before deciding on a call, having Gheba covered.

Gheba showed {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for two pair, which was good enough to rake in the big pot.

Cada Busts

Nível 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Joe Cada
Joe Cada

WSOP Main Event Champion Joe Cada was all-in before the flop with {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds} in a blind battle, and for not that much chips.

Unfortunately for him, Joshua Hill in the big blind had {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, and found an easy call.

Board came {10-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Joe Cada was eliminated.

Tice Survives

Nível 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Lots of situations of all-in and call are seen in the room after this dinner break.

Landon Tice was one of them, he tried to survive with {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, all-in preflop.

He was called by {a-Spades}{j-Spades} and after a {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{k-Spades} board, he managed to survive and double up.
