Heckman Outs Opponent's Bluff, Sniffing 200,000 Chips

Nível 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

There was 35,000 in the middle when the board ran out {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and Andrew Heckman checked over to the early position player who put out a bet of 30,000.

In less than five seconds, Heckman put a green chip and a red one into the middle, with his opponent turning over {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

Heckman turned over the {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks to take his stack to just under 200,000.

Dave McCaskill: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

Anti-Climax Involving Serock

Nível 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Joe Serock
Joe Serock

Joseph Serock from the small blind and his the fast starting Rodney Turvin on the button, saw a flop of {k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}. With already 18,000 chips in the pot, Serock had bet 5,000, to which Turvin called.

The {j-Clubs} turn slowed action down with both players checking.

Again, the {6-Diamonds} river didn't bring any more action and Turvin tabled {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}, only to be shown {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} by Serock to chop it up.

Whitesell Selling The Story

Nível 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Rick Whitesell was heads-up versus the button, from under-the-gun. On a board of {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, Whitesell moved all-in, covering his opponents last 24,000 chips.

This was the last hand in the room before break and his opponent was well into the tank, before ultimately folding to give Whitesell the pot.

Senic Shows

Nível 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

With action four ways to a flop, Andrej Senic and one opponent had matched bets as we went to a turn.

With the board read {q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and 10,000 chips in the middle, Senic checked and his opponent bet 15,000. With action back on Senic facing the over-bet, he chose to raise to 30,000.

The opponent thought for a while, before letting his hand go. Senic showed him the {a-Spades} as he took down the pot.

Sandquist Doubles Up

Nível 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Tony Sandquist (cutoff) and his opponent on the button each checked the {4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop but both opted to get their whole stack in on the {a-Diamonds} turn.

Tony Sandquist: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Button: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Sandquist outpipped the button's pair of aces and held through the {k-Spades} river to earn a full double-up to 80,000.

Chan Forces Opponent Out With Turn Shove

Nível 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Heads-up to a turn with Chan in the cutoff versus the button, the board read {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Chan had moved all-in for what was 25,000 chips. The pot was already massive, with approximately 70,000 in the middle already.

His opponent thought and thought, playing with his cards and perhaps gruelling over his decision, until he ultimately let it go.

The Oakland native flipped the {q-Diamonds} as he was rewarded with the pot and exclaimed ''Am I gonna make the news?!'' whilst looking over to PokerNews staff.
