Gumz Spikes Top Set on River to Score Double Knockout

Nível 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Fabian Gumz
Fabian Gumz

Things got pretty wild when German pro Fabian Gumz and two other opponents were all-in on the {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Spades} flop with roughly 120,000 total up for grabs.

Big Blind: {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Button: {7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Fabian Gumz: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

Gumz was behind and looking for a ten or an ace to score a double knockout.

The {7-Clubs} on the turn gave the button additional outs to score the victory but the {a-Hearts} on the river gave Gumz the huge pot and sent both of his opponents packing.

Marsala Cruising After Scoring Knockout with Aces

Nível 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The action picked up with two players all-in before the flop, with Stephen Benkovic putting his final 12,000 chips at risk against Dawn Marsala.

Stephen Benkovic: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}.
Dawn Marsala: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

Benkovic was far behind and needed a lot of help. He picked up a backdoor straight draw and a backdoor flush draw on the {9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop but was drawing dead when the {2-Clubs} hit the turn.

The {j-Hearts} completed the board.

While Marsala is quietly climbing up the leaderboard, Benkovic has been sent to the rail.

Haselhorst Rides Ace-King to Huge Double-Up

Nível 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

There was already over 50,000 chips in the pot when the board read {6-Spades}{a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades}.

Dan Haselhorst, sitting in late position, shoved for his final 48,100 chips against his cutoff opponent.

The cutoff deliberated for roughly 90 seconds, puffed out her cheeks, and eventually made the call only to be shown Haselhorst's {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} was indeed the winner.

Haselhorst completed a full double-up and is now sniffing the 150,000-chip mark.

Kade Flops Straight, Gets Three Streets of Value vs. Contreraz

Nível 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Vanessa Kade

Angel Contreraz opened for 2,400 from the button and Vanessa Kade called.

Contreraz continued for 5,600 on the {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop and Kade went for the 18,500 raise. Contrerasz called and they went to the turn.

Kade fired for 27,000 more when the {6-Diamonds} graced the turn and Contreraz called once more.

On the {q-Clubs} river, Kade put out 37,000 and Contreraz claimed that was a "call-me bet" but made the call anyway.

Kade tabled {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for the flopped straight and took down a big pot to soar over 350,000 chips.

Moore Takes Down Big Pot Before Break

Nível 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

On the last hand of level 6, Megan Moore was in the cutoff facing an opponent in the big blind.

With 12,000 already in the middle on a {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{j-Spades} board, the big blind bet out for 7,000. Moore would raise to 30,000 and the big blind called.

The {a-Hearts} river had both players tapping the table and Moore tabled {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} to take down a 72,000-chip pot, breathing a sigh of relief that the big blind did not have {k-}{10-}.
