Ohel Pulls Further Ahead

Nível 21

Anatolii Zyrin: {x-}{x-} / {6-}{j-}{a-}{q-} / {x-}
Randy Ohel: {x-}{x-} / {a-}{6-}{k-}{2-} / {x-}

What started with three way action only left Anatolii Zyrin and Randy Ohel in contention after the latter bet fourth and the former called. Zyrin bet his lead on fifth and Ohel raised. What followed was somewhat unclear as Zyrin tossed in chips but not for the correct amount, since it was more than a call it was a forced three-bet and Ohel called.

Ohel then bet sixth and seventh for Zyrin to reluctantly call and muck once Ohel revealed the {7-}{7-}{5-} for a {7-}{6-}{5-}{2-}{a-}.

Even More for Ohel

Nível 21

Big O

The game variant changed and Anatolii Zyrin limped in from the cutoff, as did Naoya Kihara in the small blind. Brian Rast checked in the big blind and the flop of {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts} was checked through. Kihara bet the {7-Clubs} turn and both opponents folded.

Randy Ohel then raised to 70,000 from under the gun and Kihara called. It was checked all the way on the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop and {4-Spades} turn. Ohel then led the {k-Diamonds} river for 60,000 and Kihara paid it off to muck when Ohel turned over the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for the nut flush.

Zyrin Doubles Through Kihara

Nível 21
Anatolii Zyrin
Anatolii Zyrin

Big O

After Naoya Kihara raised to 55,000 in early position, Anatolii Zyrin moved in for his last 165,000, which Kihara called.

Anatolii Zyrin: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Naoya Kihara: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

The {k-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} flop brought a set of threes to Kihara, but also provided a world of outs to Zyrin to either scoop or chop the pot.

One of them was the {2-Diamonds} on the turn that gave Zyrin a wheel and a six-high straight.

The {10-Hearts} on the river changed nothing and Zyrin earned himself a much-needed double up.

Zyrin Doubles Through Gorodinsky

Nível 21

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Ben Diebold raised to 50,000 on the button and then folded when Naoya Kihara pushed all-in from the small blind.

One hand later, Anatolii Zyrin jammed it in for the last 180,000 and Mike Gorodinsky called in the big blind.

Zyrin patted and Gorodinsky patted it back to get shown the {10-}{9-}{8-}{7-}{4-} by the Russian. Gorodinsky briefly exposed a jack-ten and Zyrin locked up the double, then shared the good news in the native language to his girlfriend on the rail.

Diebold Takes From Rast

Nível 21

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Ben Diebold raised from the button and was called by Brian Rast in the big blind. Both discarded two in the first round and checked to the second round, on which Rast took one and Diebold took two. Rast bet and Diebold called. Both took one again and Rast's bet was called by Diebold.

Rast announced a nine and Diebold immediately replied "nine what?" before exposing a {9-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}. That won the hand as Rast mucked.

One hand later, Christopher Claassen raised from under the gun and Mike Gorodinsky defended in the big blind. They took two each and Gorodinsky check-called, then took two and Claassen took one. Following the check by Gorodinsky, Claassen bet and that won the pot.

Claassen won another small pot the next hand against chip leader Randy Ohel when they only got past the first drawing round.

Anatolii Zyrin
Anatolii Zyrin

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Mike Gorodinsky raised in the cutoff and was called by Anatolii Zyrin on the button.

Each player drew two cards, and Zyrin check-called a bet from Gorodinsky.

On the second draw, Zyrin drew two and Gorodinsky took one.

Agan, Zyrin check-called a bet from Gorodinsky.

The final draw saw each player take one new card, and with a bit more deliberation than in previous streets, Zyrin check-called a bet from Gorodinsky.

"Ten" declared Gorodinsky, before Zyrin fanned {9-}{8-}{7-}{6-}{3-} for the winner to pass Gorodinsky in the chip counts and get himself off the short stack.

A Big One for Diebold

Nível 21
Ben Diebold
Ben Diebold

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Randy Ohel raised from the cutoff and was called by Ben Diebold in the small blind. Naoya Kihara then made it three bets to go from the big blind, with both potential opponents calling.

Diebold drew two, Kihara took one, and Ohel was in for three.

Diebold checked to Kihara who continued betting. Ohel checked, then it was Diebold coming with a check-raise.

Kihara and Ohel both called, then the draw went pat for Diebold, one for Kihara, and two for Ohel.

Diebold led out and was called only by Kihara.

Diebold patted his hand again and Kihara drew one.

The players checked the final betting round before Diebold fanned {8-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-} for the winner, as Kihara showed {7-}{4-}{3-}{2-}{x-}, then tossed the cards into the muck.

More PLHE Action in Sight

Nível 21

Pot-Limit Hold'em

Anatolii Zyrin picked Pot-Limit Hold'em and raised to 40,000 in the cutoff for Brian Rast in the big blind to call. On the {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, Rast check-called for 30,000 and the {3-Clubs} fell on the turn. Rast now bet 65,000 and Zyrin folded.

Zyrin opened to 40,000 the next hand and Mike Gorodinsky flat-called in the big blind. Gorodinsky checked the {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop, then folded when facing a bet worth 40,000.

Rast opened to 45,000 on the button and folded to Gorodinsky's pot-sized three-bet.
