Liam Gannon:
Paul Becker:
The board came and the pocket jacks held for Becker. Gannon was sent to the rail but told PokerNews he bought a Phil Hellmuth "positivity" shirt to ease the blow of the knockout.

It's been less than 200 days since the last bracelet was dished out at the 2021 World Series of Poker, but poker's largest and most prestigious festival is back again this week, and in its traditional summer slot no less.
A lot has happened since the last time the WSOP was held in the height of the Las Vegas heat, but the biggest difference of all sees a historic change of venue as Bally's and Paris get ready to host poker summer camp on the Strip for the very first time.

Players are now on a 20-minute break.
Just before the break, the board was showing and Adam Lamers faced a bet of 1,600 from Richard Garcia.
Lamers thought it over and then sent his cards to the muck. He is sitting just under starting stack.
