Conniff's Aces Get Cracked by Spencer

Nível 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Asher Conniff
Asher Conniff

Lewis Spencer opened the action from under the gun and Asher Conniff then three-bet to 405,000. Spencer piled it in and Conniff snap-called for around two million in chips.

Asher Conniff: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Lewis Spencer: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop provided the flush draw for Spencer and the {3-Diamonds} turn left Conniff drawing dead, as Spencer fist-pumped vividly. A meaningless {2-Clubs} fell on the river as Conniff was already waiting for the runner to arrive.

"I guess I should apologise to him if he sticks around," Spencer said after some 30 seconds while he was busy stacking the chips.

Weigel Comes Up Empty with Big Slick

Nível 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Nicolas Vayssieres raised to 175,000 from early position and Tonio Röder three-bet to 540,000 from middle position. Frank Weigel four-bet shoved for 755,000 from the button and both players called.

The flop was {q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Vayssieres checked. Tonio Röder bet 450,000 and Vayssieres called to see the turn {9-Diamonds}.

Both players checked the turn and the river was {q-Hearts}. Vayssieres fired 1,470,000 on the river and Röder got away from the side pot.

Weigel turned over {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}, but Vayssieres had {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} to take the pot with queens and fives. Weigel wished the table luck and hit the rail just before the first break of the day.

Nível 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Stephen Song
Stephen Song

Ruslan Dykshteyn raised it up from under the gun and was called by Stephen Song in the big blind. The flop came {k-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} and Song checked to Dykshteyn who continued with a bet. Song check-raised and Dykshteyn just called.

The turn brought the {8-Hearts} and Song ripped all in for around 1,600,000 and Dykshteyn quickly called. Song flipped over {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for two pair but Dykshteyn flopped a flush with {10-Spades}{9-Spades}.

The river was the {2-Clubs} and Song was unable to come from behind as he was eliminated in the opening level of Day 6.

Lim Hits Nut Flush on River to Send Two to the Rail

Nível 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Dragana Lim
Dragana Lim

From under the gun Francis Cruz open jammed 935,000. Dragana Lim called from middle position. It folded to Shai Arbel in the big blind who re-shoved for 2,680,000. Lim got the count from the dealer and took a moment before calling to create a massive pot as the cameras swarmed the table.

Francis Cruz: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Shai Arbel: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Dragana Lim: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Lim had the chance for a double knockout but would need some help. The flop came {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} to provide an immediate sweat for Arbel, while Cruz was drawing even more thin. The turn was a {5-Hearts} blank. But the river came the {2-Diamonds} to bring home the nut flush for Lim and dramatically crack the queens of Arbel.

"Great call." said Arbel with a hint of sarcasm as he shook his head in disgust as Lim raked in the massive pot as the cameras watched the last woman standing become one of the top stacks in the tournament.

Petrangelo Leads the Turn

Nível 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Michael Nugent raised to 175,000 in the cutoff and Nick Petrangelo defended from the big blind. The flop fell {j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and Petrangelo check-called a bet of 325,000 from Nugent.

The {7-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and Petrangelo took a moment before throwing in a small bet of 300,000. That proved to be enough as Nugent quickly mucked his cards and Petrangelo scooped the pot.

Secilmis Fires Back at Rigby

Nível 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Nicholas Rigby raised it up to 225,000 in middle position and Ugur Secilmis three-bet to 625,000 from the hijack. The action folded back to Rigby who called to see a flop of {q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

Rigby checked to Secilmis who continued with a bet of 300,000 and Rigby quickly called. The {k-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Rigby checked again. Secilmis pushed out a bet of 1,100,000 and Rigby slung his cards to the muck.

Chris Vezzetti opened to 160,000 from the cutoff and Ruslan Dykshteyn three-bet to around 400,000 from the button.

Cabrera Sends Cramer to the Rail

Nível 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

In a preflop all-in contest, Timothy Cramer was at risk for what appeared to be 1,250,000 and earned an instant call by David Cabrera. Cramer already pulled the magical back bag and out of the seat trick when the cards were revealed while his rail gathered to see the showdown.

Timothy Cramer: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
David Cabrera: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Cramer's rail predicted a jack-ten-nine flop but just one of those cards appeared on the {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop. The {j-Spades} turn then provided the mandatory sweat but the {8-Spades} river was a blank to send Cramer to the rail.
