Dumont Wins a Flip vs Roder

Nível 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Tonio Roder opened to 335,000 in the hijack and was called by Philipe Pizzari Pinto in the cutoff. Nicolas Dumont ripped all in for 3,370,000 on the button and Roder called. Pinto got out of the way and the cards were on their backs.

Nicolas Dumont: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Tonio Roder: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

The flop came {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Dumont took a commanding lead with his pair of queens. The {2-Spades} on the turn and the {4-Hearts} on the river changed nothing as Dumont scored a double up.

Amarapu and Field Chop It Up

Nível 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Joshua Field raised to 320,000 from an early position and was called by Vasu Amarapu in the cutoff. They checked the {9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop and Field bet the {3-Diamonds} turn for 300,000, which Amarapu called. On the {9-Diamonds} river, Field bet 1,125,000 and Amarapu called to chop it up with {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, as Field has the {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for the equally strong wheel.

The remaining 60 players are now on a 75-minute dinner break and will return at approximately 8:06 p.m. Pacific Time. While they are on break, read about some of the biggest hands of Level 28:

Mcdiarmid Loses Two in a Row

Nível 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Right before the dinner break, David Cabrera and Zachary Mcdiarmid were involved in a three-bet pot to the {6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop on which Cabrera checked. Mcdiarmid bet 700,000 and earned a call by the Spaniard. The {k-Clubs} followed on the turn and Cabrera check-called for another 1,400,000.

Cabrera then eyeballed the stack of Mcdiarmid on the {3-Spades} river before moving all-in and earning an instant fold.

Mcdiarmid raised the next hand and called a three-bet by Roongsak Griffeth but instantly folded on an ace-high flop. The players then racked up the chips and moved them over to the right side feature table.

Remitio Finds Aces Right Before Dinner

Nível 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

In the very last hand before dinner break, Matija Dobric raised from early position, Joshua Remitio three-bet from the small blind, Dobric four-bet jammed all in and Remitio snap-called.

Joshua Remitio: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Matija Dobric: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The board would not spring any surprises as it came {6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and Dobric was left with a knub of chips as he walked off to dinner likely without much appetite while Remitio received a huge boost.

Nível 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Ehsan Amiri was all-in for his last 1,325,000 from the cutoff after Tonio Röder had raised from under the gun. The action folded back to Röder who made the call.

Ehsan Amiri: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Tonio Röder: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts} for Amiri to flop top pair to double up with.
