Rodriguez Leaves Chen Short

Fernando Rodriguez opened to 60,000 in middle position and was called by Pete Chen on his left and Jesse Lonis in the cutoff.

The flop came and Rodriguez checked to Chen who bet 135,000. Lonis folded but Rodriguez check-raised to 300,000. Chen just called and the paired the board on the turn.

Rodriguez quickly pushed all in, putting Chen to the test for his remaining 500,000 chips. Chen went into the tank for a couple of minutes before finally sending his cards to the muck.

Cowen Flops a Set of Tens

Four players headed to a flop of and Robert Cowen was the first to take a stab with a bet of 125,000 in the hijack. David Flood called from the cutoff as did Nicholas Rigby on the button.

The turn brought the and Cowen sized up with a bet of 385,000. Flood still called and Rigby took his time but decided to get out of the way.

The landed on the river and Cowen checked this time. "I'm not going to try to bluff you," Flood said as he checked it back. Cowen tabled for a set of tens and Flood sent his cards to the muck.

The board read with around 200,000 in the middle.

Thissa Desilva had shoved from the big blind with the bigger stack for Jonas Kronwitter to dive into the tank from the middle position. After a while, he flicked in a chip for the call.

Desilva tabled the for trips and Kronwitter pushed his cards towards the muck. No cards were initially revealed until a player asked the dealer to show them before they were mixed into the muck and the were revealed.
