Pignatelli Busts Weinstein

Nível 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Ryan Pignatelli
Ryan Pignatelli

Tzur Levy was busy stacking chips after knocking out Ismael Bojang and the next all-in showdown unfolded right after on the same table when Ryan Pignatelli raised and snap-called the shove of David Weinstein.

David Weinstein: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Ryan Pignatelli: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Weinstein got there on the {j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop and remained ahead on the {10-Hearts} turn. However, the {a-Hearts} fell on the river to knock out Weinstein.

Turnquest Gets Through With a Shove

Nível 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

In a battle of the blinds the flop showed {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Mauricio Solano check-called a bet worth 25,100 by Chase Turnquest which then led them to the {3-Clubs} on the turn. Solano checked the stack of his opponent carefully and then checked. Turnquest jammed for 98,200 and Solano asked for a count before reluctantly folding.

"Do you want to see it?" Turnquest asked and Solano nodded. He was shown the {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for the top pair and then mentioned in table chat "I had a straight and flush draw. Let me put it this way, I needed the ace of spades for a royal flush."

Funaro Shows the Bluff

Nível 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Frank Funaro

With about 110,000 in the pot and a board of {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, a player in the hijack checked and Frank Funaro bet 51,000. The hijack player thought about it and called.

The {4-Spades} completed the board and the hijack appeared motionless for a minute before checking. Funaro bet 80,000 and the hijack had another decision. Eventually, he laid down his hand.

"Let's go boys!" Funaro exclaimed as he slammed down the {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and dragged in the pot.

Livingston (Semi)bluffs Lewis

Nível 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Alex Livingston opened to 5,500 from early position and was three-bet to 13,800 by Romain Lewis in the cutoff. Action folded back to Livingston, who called.

Both players checked on the {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Spades} flop and Livingston led out for 16,000 on the {4-Diamonds} turn. Lewis folded after a bit of thought and Livingston tabled {q-Spades}{10-Spades} as he dragged the pot.

"I was ready to go with it," Livingston said.

Matusow Leaves Decision to Coin Flip

Nível 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Mike Matusow

Jimmy D'Ambrosio and Mike Matusow told PokerNews about a hand they were involved in which began with a third player opening to 5,400 and Matusow flat-calling as the player next to act. D'Ambrosio then three-bet shoved a stack of 51,000 and the action folded to Matusow.

"My gut told me to call," said Matusow.

Ultimately, Matusow left the decision up to the coin flip by another player at the table. After the toss, Matusow folded ace-queen face-up and D'Ambrosio did not reveal his holding.

"I would've been happy with either a call or a fold," D'Ambrosio said.
