Some Gold Counts

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Lindgren Bluffs with Bottom Pair

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

(Hand took place during 800/1,600 blind levels on the PokerGO stream, which is on a 45-minute delay)

Eric Lindgren raised to 3,500 with {5-Spades}{4-Spades} and his opponent in the big blind made it 11,600 with {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. Lindgren made the call and they both saw a flop of {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. The big blind led out for 13,000 and the three-time bracelet winner called.

When the {7-Clubs} hit on the turn, the preflop aggressor checked and Lindgren bet out 24,000 with bottom pair and an open-ended straight draw. His opponent, with the best hand, couldn't pull the trigger on a call and decided on a fold.

Meant to be for Dechant

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Dieter Dechant
Dieter Dechant

Dieter Dechant raised in early position to 3,600 and the action folded around to the big blind who defended.

The dealer spread a flop of {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} and the big blind check-raised the bet of 7,000 from Dechant to 25,000 and Dechant made the call.

The {10-Spades} hit the turn and the big blind instantly announced all in and Dechant wasted no time calling off his stack of 81,500.

Dieter Dechant: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Big blind: {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

Dechant was out-flopped by the opponent's two pair and after seeing the hands Dechant said, "Oh, well. If it's meant to be it's meant to be."

And meant to be it was as the {10-Diamonds} landed on the river, counterfeiting the big blind's two pair. Dechant took down the pot with kings and tens.

Larsen Bests Phoenix Flush Over Flush

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Caleb Larsen and Nick Phoenix went to the river on a board of {6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Larsen, in early position, put out a bet of 50,000 and Phoenix went into the tank.

"I have the flush but I think yours is bigger. That's what I get for playing low cards," Phoenix said. He eventually called but saw that his read was right. Larsen turned over {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the nut flush to drag the pot, while Phoenix was left on a severe short-stack.

Zhu Ramps up The Aggression

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

A player in the cutoff opened to 4,000 and was three-bet to 16,600 by Yueqi Zhu on the button. Action folded back around to the original raiser, who called.

The cutoff checked to Zhu on the {9-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Spades} flop and he continued for 10,200. His opponent called.

Zhu was checked to once more when the {6-Clubs} fell on the turn and Zhu bet again for 18,200. The cutoff folded after a bit of thought and Zhu dragged the pot.

Boeree Defends, Boeree Wins

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Liv Boeree defended her big blind over a preflop raise from early position and saw a flop of {5-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Boeree checked, then called when her opponent bet 5,000.

The turn came the {9-Diamonds}, and Boeree again check-called a bet, this time for 7,000. The {q-Hearts} came on the river and both players checked.

Boeree showed {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for two pair and her opponent mucked.
