Christopher Frank
Christopher Frank

GGPoker Qualifier Christopher Frank raised a bet of 2,500 up to 11,000 on the flop {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{k-Spades} and was called.

Frank continued for 14,000 on the {8-Diamonds} turn and his opponent called to see the {6-Clubs} river.

Both players checked and Frank tabled {k-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for kings and nines and the winner.

Green Survives All-in with Aces

Nível 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

On a flop of {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, Russell Green moved all-in and was called by one opponent.

The hands were tabled and it was the {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} held by Green that was in the lead versus the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a nut flush draw held by his opponent.

The dealer burned and turned the {7-Spades} and that sealed the deal for Green with a full house, sevens full of aces, which left his opponent drawing dead.

The meaningless river {8-Clubs} made it official, and Green survived his all-in and secured a double-up.

Trips Aces Push Phillips Past 100k

Nível 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A player in middle position opened to 4,000 and was called by the small blind and Dennis Phillips in the big blind.

Everyone checked on the {2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} flop and it was checked to the original raiser on the {a-Diamonds} turn. He bet 5,000 and action folded back over to Phillips, who check-raised to 15,000. His opponent called.

Phillips bet another 15,000 when the {9-Spades} completed the board and his opponent called. Phillips tabled {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for trips and his opponent mucked without showing.

ClubGG Qualifier Flops a Set to Bust One

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Ben Harrison eliminated a player right before the break and relayed the details.

According to Harrison, he raised to 4,000 from the hijack and David Shun in the big blind called. The flop came {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Harrison continued for 5,000. Shun raised to 10,000, then called for 65,000 when Harrison moved all in.

Shun had {a-Spades}{10-Spades} for the nut flush draw, while Harrison had flopped a set with {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. The board ran out {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, missing Shun's flush and sending him to the rail while the ClubGG qualifier moved up to around 150,000.

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Vincent Teutonico picked up the half-full wine glass he uses to cap his cards and moved all in for his last 40,000. Huy Nguyen called.

Vincent Teutonico: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Huy Nguyen: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The {k-Hearts} came in the window to pair Nguyen, followed by the {5-Spades}{j-Hearts}. The board was filled up by the {7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Teutonico took his glass and his wine bottle and headed for the exit.
