Muallem Makes Tough Call to Chip Up

Nível 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Noam Muallem, recognizable by the panda cap he wears, raised to 2,500 from the hijack and got two callers, including Prashray Rai on the button. Muallem continued for 3,000 on the {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop and only Rai called.

Muallem slowed down and checked the {k-Clubs} turn, allowing Rai to bet 3,000. Muallem then min-raised to 6,000 and Rai called to see the {2-Hearts} river.

Muallem checked once again and Rai threw out a bet of 25,000. Muallem considered the decision for several minutes, picking up a green 25,000 chip he would need to call and twirling it in his fingers. He eventually called and Rai turned over {j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a pair of jacks. Muallem slammed down {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a pair of jacks, ace kicker, to win the pot.

"I put him on queen-jack. Jack-five from the button? No respect," Muallem said as he stacked his new chips.

Scott Seiver: {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Hijack: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {9-Clubs} and {2-Hearts} to give Seiver a double, although he's going to be looking for more help to run up his stack today.

Dodd Catches Milliard-Feral

Nível 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Corey Dodd raised to 1,700 in the cutoff and Julian Milliard-Feral defended the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Milliard-Feral check-called a bet of 1,100.

The {2-Hearts} hit the turn and both players checked.

When the {5-Diamonds} completed the board, Milliard-Feral fired out a bet of 5,000 and Dodd wasted little time making the call. Milliard-Feral tabled {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Dodd took down the pot when he showed {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for two pair on the flop.

Seven-High No Good as Kade Busts

Nível 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Vanessa Kade
Vanessa Kade

Vanessa Kade was in the big blind and threw out two green 25,000 chips, announcing herself all in on the river with {6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} showing. Jorge Ribeiro on the button went into the tank for several minutes before the clock was called.

Just as the tournament floor was about to reach zero, Ribeiro put in the chips to call. Kade turned over {7-Hearts}{4-Spades} for seven high, while Ribeiro had {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. The stacks were counted down and Ribeiro's remaining 86,000 had Kade covered as she made her exit.

Richard Seymour, three-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots and 131st-place finisher in the 2019 Main Event, just registered for the tournament and took his seat at this table.
