Greenstein Chips Up

Nível 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On an {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop, Barry Greenstein was in the big blind and check-raised a 3,000 bet from an early position player up to 10,000. His opponent called.

The {5-Clubs} came on the turn and Greenstein led for 15,000. His opponent surrendered his hand and Greenstein took the chips to add to his stack.

Lyons Survives All-in with Pocket Rockets

Nível 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Pat Lyons
Pat Lyons

All of the chips went into the middle preflop and it was the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} held by world-famous poker pro-Pat Lyons versus the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} held by his opponent.

The dealer spread the flop of {6-Spades}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Lyons remained ahead.

The turn card {3-Clubs} changed nothing.

The river card {7-Diamonds} confirmed the double-up for Lyons as he had survived his all-in.

Hellmuth Avoids Disaster by Just Calling a Three-Bet

Nível 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

(Post took place during 600/1,200 blind levels on the PokerGO stream, which is on a 45-minute delay)

Phil Hellmuth raised under the gun to 2,500 with {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}, but ran into the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} of Simon Burns, who three-bet to 7,500.

Action folded back to the "Poker Brat," who quickly called. The flop was {k-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Hellmuth checked and Burns continued for 3,500, which convinced the 1989 Main Event winner to fold.

Michael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi in middle position, David Manikos in the hijack, and the big blind saw a flop of {7-Spades}{2-Spades}{q-Spades}. Mizrachi bet 6,000 and only Manikos called.

The turn came the {8-Clubs} and Mizrachi bet another 9,400, with Manikos calling to see the {9-Spades} on the river. Both players checked.

"Two pair," Mizrachi said, turning over {7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} as the entire table burst out laughing.

"I raised dark. I didn't know what I had," Mizrachi said.

A Pair of Rockets Collide

Nível 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Soo Jo Kim
Soo Jo Kim

Soo Jo Kim opened with a raise from under the gun only to be faced with a three-bet from the hijack.

Action folded back to Kim who fired out a 23,000 four-bet and his opponent called bringing the {8-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop.

Kim continued for 15,500 and was called. The turn came the {2-Diamonds} and Kim fired out 33,300. His opponent called and the {7-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Kim continued with his aggression and fired out a bet of 54,400. The bet sent his opponent into the tank and after some careful thought, they called.

Kim rolled over {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} for a pair of aces while his opponent quickly showed {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} and let out a sigh of relief as the two players chopped after an anticlimactic pot.
