Allacher Folds Aces to Shalev, Doesn't Believe Him

Nível 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

With around 50,000 in the pot and the board showing {k-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, Simon Shalev shoved for his last 42,000. Action was on Scott Allacher to his left, who went into the tank for several minutes.

"Sorry guys," Allacher said as he questioned Shalev about his hand. Shalev remained silent and just stared back. Allacher eventually folded {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}.

"Good fold," Shalev said. "I had a set of kings."

"You didn't have a set of kings. You had two hearts," Allacher responded. "He says he had a set of kings, but I don't know."

Chisu Chops a Pot; Loses a Pot

Nível 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Danut Chisu three-bet an open raise to 1,900 and earned a call by the initial raiser. The {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop was checked to Chisu, who continued for 1,200 and received a call.

Both players then checked the {8-Clubs} turn and {q-Diamonds} river as Chisu chopped with {a-Spades}{k-Spades}, his opponent had the equally strong {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}.

One hand later, Chisu opened and Dan Lowery came along in the big blind. Lowery check-raised the {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop from 700 to 2,200 and earned a call by Chisu.

The {7-Hearts} turn was check-called by Lowery for 3,000 and the {j-Hearts} river went check, check. Lowery tabled the {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the top pair and won the pot.
