Zevola Navigates Wet Board

Nível 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Action was picked up on the river on a very wet looking board of {6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. The pot was about 10,000. Seth Davies bet 2,000 over to Marco Zevola.

Zevola took a few moments before calling. Davies showed the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Zevola had that beat as he tabled the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and collected the modest pot with rockets.

Nível 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

After a preflop raise, the action was heads-up between Almatbek Mykhanov and Christopher Land to the {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} flop.

Another bet and call followed the {q-Clubs} turn and {8-Spades} river before Land led out for 5,000. Mykhanov announced a raise to 20,000 and Land took a moment before making the call. Mykhanov turned over {j-Spades}{5-Spades} for a flush to take down a sizeable pot.

Davies Shows the Flush, Minkin Takes One

Nível 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Ashok Kamani raised to 500 from middle position and Seth Davies called from the cutoff. Kelly Minkin and David Brightman joined from the blinds and it was four-ways to the flop {7-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Spades}.

Action checked through to the turn {a-Spades} and checked to Davies again in position. Davies bet 900 and only Kamani called.

On the river {3-Spades} Kamani led for 2,100 and Davies raised it up to 9,000. Kamani folded and Davies showed {q-Spades}{j-Spades} for the queen-high flush.

A few hands later, Minkin and Kamani both put in 1,000 each on the flop {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} to see the {2-Diamonds} turn. Minkin bet 3,200 and it was enough to take down the pot.

Unusual Hold'em Play for Becker

Nível 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Johannes Becker admitted that this is only the third No-Limit Hold'em tournament during the 2021 WSOP so far and the first two events "lasted only two hours." He had far fewer chips and big blinds at his disposal, though, and just won a small pot right away.

Becker opened to 500 and the big blind defended. They checked the {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} flop and Becker then bet the {4-Clubs} turn for 1,000 when checked to in order to win the pot.
