The rail of Nguyen was pulling closer to the table in order to see the showdown. However, they didn't have any reason to celebrate as the board ran out . Nguyen failed to improve and Lonis held up with his pocket pair to send the 2016 WSOP Main Event champion to the rail.
Since no former winners are in the remaining field, it's now certain that a new World Champion will be crowned on November 17.
