Day 1a of the Main Event was off to a bad start for Calvin Anderson, who just earned some chips back. It started with an open-raise by Anderson from under the gun and Michael Johnson three-bet to 1,600, which was called by two opponents including Anderson. On the 
flop, only Anderson check-called a bet worth 1,300 by Johnson and they checked the 
turn.
Anderson then announced a bet of 5,000 on the 
river and used his T-25,000 chip he had left over. Johnson called and mucked when Anderson revealed the 
for a full house.
